Got myself an @adafruit KB2040. Took me less than 30 minutes and 25 lines of #CircuitPython code to get a traffic light simulation up and running. I'll use this as a hands-on project for #UKY Pigman Scholars Camp. It doesn't get any easier than that.

@Julieliddellwhitehead Too many classes are burning out students who are already suffering cognitive and psychosocial effects of the #pandemic. And many of my students are #FirstGen students who are also working close to full time jobs. For the majority of my students, these class loads set them up for failure, or being so pressed they learn little to nothing. I will be talking to the advisor. I am concerned about students taking 18 or 19 hours, but 23 is madness.

I never hear researchers/academics say "I want to spend as little time as possible on the manuscript"
... Yet I see a lot of researchers/academics wanting to "spend as little time as possible" on a presentation.
