Is it bad that #AI providers scrape your content, #blog, source code, etc. to train their #AI models?
If yes, why? Because they make money?

Did you also block the #Google search crawler before the AI hype? If no, why not? Google Search is also making money from your content, your blog posts, your source code, and even more. So why not block the Google search crawler from accessing your website as well?

It makes no sense to me to block only AI providers from accessing my website.

> You crazy son of a bitch, you actually did it.

Yes, I did it. I added a CI and (near) CD to my personal blog, and I wrote up some notes on the experience (given my slightly unusual tech stack) of App Engine (dynamic and static hosting) and Hugo.

I even quickly reached the conclusion that Terraform would reasonably have a place here give modern IAM ecosystem needs and prototyped what a WIF/OIDC Terraform configuration would look like.

"Fixing a fatal git error when upgrading LiberaForms to v4.2.0 by changing my git config origin from Gitlab to Codeberg"

tl;dr: @liberaforms changed from Gitlab to Codeberg recently, and I needed to update my git config accordingly.

Written in case it helps anyone else!

Scratching my head at how often people here write about getting back to writing their blog... when they could just be writing their blog.

Include with that actual blog posts which discuss nothing other than how this is the first blog post in a while. [bemused]

Here's my entry for this month's IndieWeb carnival, hosted by @immarisabel!

I was excited for this prompt since it gives me the opportunity to talk about “color” as it relates to musical timbre, and how I like to emphasize those aspects when I write music:
