We went to the #WomensMarch at the #Indiana Statehouse today. They counted 1300 people earlier in the day, we were way late and there were maybe 400 around 2:30.

The #Indy #50501 org was there and talked about two upcoming events:

.. Apr 5 at the statehouse again

It is actually uplifting to be among lots of other people who can see what's going on and oppose it. You can participate in any way that feels comfortable to you.

Over the past couple of months I've compiled a master spreadsheet breaking out enrollment in ACA plans (Qualified Health Plans & Basic Health Plans), Medicaid/CHIP coverage (both traditional & via ACA expansion) and Medicare (both Fee-for-Services & Advantage) at the Congressional District levels. With the pending dire threat to several of these programs (primarily Medicaid & the ACA) from the House Republican Budget Proposal which recently passed, I'm going a step further and am generating pie charts which visualize just how much of every Congressional District's total population is at risk of losing healthcare coverage. Planned Parenthood, LWV of Indiana, and
numerous other groups who represent Hoosier women signed a public letter condemning Governor Mike Braun's recent orders attacking transgender people and calling out his bogus, cynical "protecting women" framing.
