Want to run the given command in the background as root or other user? Try:
```
sudo -b /path/to/job.py
sudo --background /path/to/foo.pl
sudo -u {user_name} -b /path/to/job.py
```
Please note that you can't use shell job control to manipulate background processes started by sudo which is both pro and con at a time.

Quick tip: You can use the last argument of the previous command at the CLi. The syntax is:
command1 !$

For example, make a new dir:
mkdir foo_dir1

Then:
cd !$

which becomes cd foo_dir1, thus saving you typing time. Give it a try.

#linux#unix#tips

You can quickly toggle between your two most recent directories with ‘cd -‘:

If you find yourself frequently jumping back and forth between two directories, stop typing out long paths repeatedly! Simply use the command:
cd -

This command will take you to the directory you were in just before your current one. Executing it again will take you back. It saves me a lot of typing and time so give it a try 😌

Telegram emoji list with codes and descriptions – K3A
After almost 2 years of using Telegram, I finally discovered that it is possible to enter emoji using its name after “:” character. Unfortunately I couldn’t find any complete list of available emojis anywhere, so I had to dig deep into the Telegram desktop source code to generate it. It was far more complicated than

You really dont need any AI to get inspiration for music. Trust me.

I will share what works for me:

Play some songs at the lowest volume so that you can just baaaaaarely hear any sound at all.

Use your brain's amazing ability to interpret almost inaudible songs into a different sound/concept/composition. Your brain will start generating ideas.

works for me.

peace friends.

On 17 January 1921, P.T. Selbit became the first magician to publicly “saw a woman in half”. He performed this illusion at the Finsbury Park Empire, London.

@mountainmindset Aww, a little nibbling goat

We had a goat on our back section when I was little, called Nibs, short for 'Nibbles-Everything'.

He was seriously clever! He would pick a lemon off the tree (given half the chance!), rolling it round in his mouth, gently biting the skin without piercing, then at the perfect moment, popping the lemon, tipping his head up and letting the juice slide down his throat!
