#DOGE keeps gaining access to sensitive #data. Now, it can cut off billions to #farmers

"This is from AdImpact, the canonical outfit tracking political spending on advertising. Note that the🚨"top advertiser" so far this year is the DHS, so the Trump administration's spending taxpayer dollars in support of the President."
-J Marshall

The illegitimate president is #lawless, he doesn't abide by the #Constitution or follow the rules.

#Health depts around the country have noticed there's something strange happening w/ #funding from the #CDC: It's not showing up on schedule & there's been no communication about why.

The federal #PublicHealth agency doles out most of the money it receives from #Congress to #state & #local health depts, which then contract w/local orgs. That's how public health work gets funded in the #US.

The case, #Trump v. Casa, involved one of the most blatantly #unconstitutional of Trump’s orders: his bid to revoke, by executive fiat, the constitutional guarantee of #BirthrightCitizenship. But the implications of the ruling extend far beyond that single issue. Friday’s decision means that #courts are now hobbled from stopping any of the Admin’s actions, no matter how unconstitutional they may be, nor how much damage they will inflict.

Friday’s opinion could affect any case, on any issue, where a federal judge makes a ruling that extends beyond the party or parties that actually brought the lawsuit. It left open the possibility that #judges could still block government actions nationwide, but only in situations where there was no narrower approach available that would protect the actual plaintiffs whom the #court is seeking to benefit.

#SCOTUS’ opinion setting new limits on the #power of district-court #judges to use one of their most potent tools— #NationwideInjunctions —marks the beginning of a profound shift in the way the #FederalCourts operate.

Before, >1k judges had the power to issue nationwide orders that could stop the #FederalGovernment in its tracks.

Now, those judges’ rulings can only apply to the actual plaintiffs in the case.
