"By operation of 5 U.S.C. § 7103(b) and Exclusions, covered agencies and subdivisions areno longer subject to the collective-bargaining requirements of chapter 71 of part III, subpart F oftitle 5 (5 U.S.C. §§ 7101-7135). FHFA Director Bill Pulte is big on in-office work and in-person collaboration. While his employees at FHFA reported to work today, where badge swipes and comings and goings are being tracked and scrutinized to the extreme, Director Pulte chose to telework from Florida. This is less than two weeks after he declared the end of remote work at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the entities that FHFA regulates. Is anyone surprised? 🤡
