#followerpower needed:

Does someone have a #gitlab workflow that is able to open backport MRs for successfully merged MRs that have a specific label?

For example: My MR has a label "backport::release-0.1.0". That MR is merged to master.
Now the workflow creates a new MR, targeting the "release-0.1.0" branch with the changes from my original `git cherry-pick -x`ed, or if that fails it comments on my original MR with a message indicating that cherry-pick failed.

Southern California #Linux Expo is a long-running conference established in #Pasadena in the greater #LosAngeles area, known for being the largest community-run #OpenSource and #FreeSoftware conference in North America.

This year, Sarah Conway dropped by to enjoy the event. Learn a little about this fun and engaging #developer conference (and find the link to the recordings from 22x, too) in our latest blog:

Google DocsJam Jam 2025 - Workshop & Speaker applicationWe want to welcome workshops and talks that would be relevant for the audience of the Jam Jam 2025 ( June 13-15 ). The core value of Jam Jam Festival is sharing: your personal expertise and experiences in game jams, game events and game development itself - your own journey matters and we want to hear about it! Workshops Workshops can be pretty much anything that fits the feel of Jam Jam! Previously we have had short game jams, a pancake workshop, a jelly/jam-workshop and a music-jam-workshop! Workshops should be designed for around 5-15 participants. Last year's workshop calendar can be viewed here Talks Talks can be about a previous game jam, future game jam, idea of an game jam or just general game developing talk about anything. We have had talks about retro game developing, making shaders in limited time and team formation in game jams. We will go through the first batch of applications after 13th April 2025 (deadline 23:00, EEST), after which we will keep the application form open. The application form will close three weeks before the event (23rd of May). All applicants will be informed via email. You can also host a workshop at the Jam Jam without registering it. (however, it will get more visibility if you register beforehand!) More information about the Jam Jam Festival coming soon!
