So the court has bailed out of responsibility to make a decision.
The PSNI have bailed out of responsibility to protect those wanting to make the bonfire safe.
If the sub station burns down, and/or people get asbestosis and lung cancer that’s fine, ‘cos Loyalists lit this poisonous bonfire. And 🚮, the #DUP and #TUV think this is a positive thing for Unionists and Loyalists.
How much has this farce cost the taxpayers of NI already?
How much more will in cost in repairs should the substation be damaged, or should someone die in either hospital because the power is out?
How much will it cost in healthcare for those who develop living cancer?
How much will it cost in Fire Brigade attendance?
And this one is gloating along with his associates in the #DUP and #TUV
A shameful abdication of their responsibility to their entire community and to local business.
I have no faith in the court ruling against future bonfires what are dangerous, as this is at least the third time in recent years they have adjourned a decision, or ruled against controlling it to protect peoples lives.
Of one thing you can be sure - if anyone is injured at this, their family will be suing the Council for not protecting them, and they’ll probably win. 🤬

Cowards. Complicit loyalists pretending to be a police service for all in NI.
They’d arrest a pensioner over a sticker on the bank wall; support genocide, and watch a substation burn to the ground, rather than do their job. The same #PSNI don’t even regard that disgusting racist boat of brown people on the Moygashel bonfire as a ‘hate crime’.

@ljs @ohjames AFAICT #Android for the most part doesn't do much of an #init system and merely uses #toybox to make it's #UI able to run and completely abstract the underlying system.

  • And even if it were to run it, without #rooting AND extensive knowledge of #Linux most people won't even be able to do so.

Plus yeeting the init system - even if it's just a single /etc/init file will brick the system and necessitates reflashingbabnew ROM.

  • In theory one could migrate fron one init system to another but explaining that will exceed my 11.000 character limit and makes even less sense.

Infosec.SpaceKevin Karhan :verified: (@kkarhan@infosec.space)@bodil@treehouse.systems also #SystemD is evidently a *"necessary evil"* at worst, because noone accepts #SysVinit boot times measured in minutes! Interestibgly the same folks *hating* `systemd` are loving #LaunchD & #SMF yet `launchd` is what inspired SystemD... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o_AIw9bGogo

Released Mastodon Bird UI v2.3.0 (stable) for Mastodon v4.4.0 (stable) after over 130 changes and more than 6 months of work. github.com/ronilaukkarinen/mas

There are many updates, but because of my limited time, I've mostly been focusing on keeping it aligned with the main branch rather than adding many of my own features. I hope you like it anyway.

2.3.0: 2025-07-08
Note⚠️ Compatibility: This release supports only v.4.4.0 (stable).
This version will not support Mastodon versions prior v4.4.0! (2025-07-08) For older Mastodon servers, use older...
