In #Bergen today, glorious weather, and we're now staying overnight in the city on this #cruise. Walked to the aquarium and now we're in Apollon Platebar, which is both a #vinyl record store and craft ale bar with 40+ taps. We might be a while. Started on an amber ale and a cider; both very good. We do plan to peruse the albums too.

Norwegians _loves_ it when foreigners says something nice about us! So of course a great video saying that we're doing something right gets an article in one of the two biggest local newspapers in the relevant city! :D

And if you haven't seen the video from @notjustbikes yet, well prepare yourself to get your mind blown by a tunnel in sunny, warm, basically tropical city of Bergen, Norway

Hello, hello, hello – I moustache you a question!

Rasmus Løvik was a police officer in #Bergen from 1876-1911. Was considered at a point for a transfer to somewhere else in Norway, which was met with protests from people in the Nøstet area where he patrolled.

@futurebird I present ByBanen in #Bergen, #Norway.

The "locals" hate it, and by locals I mean out-of-towners who don't care about the living standards of city folk. One of the most successful tram systems in the world, despite them generally being badly planned and as a result unsuccessful.

I'm happy you got that congestion pricing though. Fight for that. It is good. We got that here as well and that nasty beige, yellowy "gas lid" that used to hover over our city is gone - thankfully.

Oh, just a humble little train station kiosk, nothing more.

Installed in the other kiosk is M/S Venus (it´s just a model), the "England boat" that voyaged between #Bergen and #Newcastle and to other destinations from 1931 until the late 60s.
