#Signal is as secure as #ANØM, otherwise it would've been shutdown ages ago.

Also if Signal was designed for #security, it would've been #decentralized as #XMPP+#OMEMO and not demand #PII like #PhoneNumbers which oftentimes cannot be obtained anonymously in many juristictions at all!

Only #MultiVendor & #MultiProvider standards can be secure, regardless if OMEMO or #PGP/MIME.

By comparison, @delta doesn't require any PII, only an #eMail account, and @monocles isn't a #VCmoneyBurningParty but sustainable due to #subscription and they don't even require any personal details for #payment: #CashByMail and #Monero are accepted.

Not to mention neither #DeltaChat nor #monoclesChat are pandering #Shitcoin #Scams like #MobileCoin that don't work even for #TechLiterate #CryptoBros!

Again: It's Signal alone who have to evidence they are trustworthy, and all I get are "#TrustMeBro!" replies, which means they are not to be trusted.

@kkarhan #monero kenne ich nicht, aber der Zug einen EU weiten Dienstleister zu etablieren, ist abgefahren. Man kommt halt 20 Jahre zu spät.

Das derzeitige Problem mit #paypal in Bezug auf die Gastbezahlung drängt mich immer mehr dazu mich von dem Dienst zu verabschieden, aber in vielerlei Hinsicht ist er leider Konkurrenzlos. Ich habe mir mittlerweile angewöhnt überall dort, wo #Lastschrift Angeboten wird, dies stattdessen zu nutzen.

Anders als PayPal sind diese weder weit verbreitet, noch bequemer, noch billiger noch einfacher.

Ich rechne daher damit das dies mal wieder ne "Totgeburt" wird weil es keine Gründe gibt - weder für Händler noch Kunden - es zu nutzen...

Dagegen ist selbst fucking #Monero brauchbar!

Wer mit mit "#wero statt #PayPal!" kommt, kauft offensichtlich nirgendwo online ein und außerhalb der #EU ist dies genauso wie #SEPA keine Option, sondern allenfalls lokale Nische alla #AliPay / #WeChatPay und nicht global verfügbar.

Merke: rein regionale oder gar nationale Lösungen sind keine Alternative zum #VISA / #MasterCard / PayPal - #Tripol und sowohl #Stripe als auch #Klarna sind nicht wirklich konkirrenzfähig.

#WasFehlt ist eine genormte, globale #Payment-#API aber dazu wird es wegen #Gier, #KYC & #AML nie kommen…

Eher werden wir #Monero als #Zahlungsmittel beim Durchbruch in den globalen Mainstream sehen!

Eher werden wir #Monero als Mainstream-#Zahlungsmethode sehen als eine rein auf die #EU beschränkte Konkurrenz.

Die Leute hinter wero haben EXAKT NULL aus #GeldKarte, #eurocash, #eurocheque und Co. gelernt.

Merke: Wenn's nicht global verfügbar ist wird's allenfalls ne lokale Nische erfüllen.
