Outlook: You got a meeting! Here are all the details and the documents related to it.
Me: Cool, let me accept it. I'll read it and reply to it later.
Outlook: The message and all details are now in the Deleted Item folder.
Outlook Default Browser.
By default, any links you open from an Outlook email will be opened in Microsoft Edge, even if you have a different browser set as your default browser in Windows.
Here is how you can change the default browser for any links you open in Outlook.
And this is using the most recent version of Outlook.
1. After opening Outlook, Hit Alt F to open the file menu.
2. Arrow up and press enter on Options.
3. Press the letter A until you hear Advanced.
4. Tab about 7 times until you hear, Open hyperlinks from Outlook in combo box.
5. Microsoft Edge should be the one listed. Arrow down until you hear default browser and press enter.
6. Now whatever browser you have listed as your default browser in Windows will be used to open hyperlinks from Outlook emails.
7. It is quicker to shift tab until you get to the OK button, then press it to close the window.
With the whole #ukpol on #e2ee forcing #apple to disable #adp and #usa going mad under #trump many seem to switch to #Signal over #WhatsApp.
But it seems still most people do not realize that if you use #Outlook, #Gmail, #Yahoo etc those very same governments have full access to everything that ever went through your mailbox.
Over at @privacyguides we have some good recommendations to switch to.
Try and find and set the "Vacation" mode setting in Outlook 365. There's no way to access it via any menus or control panels, you can only find it typing in the search box, and you have to guess you want "Replies". And all the help you can find using various search engines, including Microsoft's own, include only wrong answers on the first page of results (couldn't bother with the rest of the pages).
@voxel personally, I despise @brave and I think it, @Vivaldi or any other #Chromium-#Fork|s are just bad to the point that I recommend using @torproject / #TorBrowser, @dillo / #dillo and #LynxBrowser over those.
I consider #Edge to be #Givware just like #MicrosoftOutlook which leaks all login details to #Microsoft!
@raccoon @nixCraft @0xF21D @thunderbird @bobkmertz yeah, and I do think that such an option is good because it reduces hassle and makes it easy for people who use #Thunderbird on Desktop to get it up and running on #Android as well, reducing friction and providing a easier onboarding similar to how #Microsoft gets people to use their #Outlook garbage.
Business sentiment is apparently poor, per many running businesses
(contrary to what #trump recently said in a video I posted in a previous thread; I tried to fact check the number he gave and could find nothing to prove or disprove it— I’m not sure where he got that number)

I'd say @thunderbird is hands-down the better alternative to #Outlook in every shape or form!
