#Journal of a slightly tired Dutch Pixy :pixy_party: (Friday, 02/05/2025).

I woke up around 21 for the loo. And then when my alarm told me that it was time to get up. I got Arwen her meds, got to to scale, dressed. I let Arwen out for her thing, and then I took my own meds. Waited for a while and then I was able to give Arwen her food. I got my bad and headed to the gym. It was still rather warm outside.

I checked my socials and then I got to the treadmill for a while. After that, I went to the seated bike for a bit. I relaxed in the massage chair after that. Switched my shoes and headed back to Arwen again.

Washed up, changed clothes, had brekky. The weather was still warmer, but it was dry, so that was a plus. We walked the short round together. When we got back, I changed clothes and headed to the hometrainer for a short ride. It was too warm upstairs to get a decent ride in. 😔

I relaxed a bit on the couch with Arwen after that. Made some food. And the I got the things to the car, and I walked Arwen, before we headed to Nijmegen. It was weird to do this on a Friday.

I helped mum with her compression stockings, which is always hard work. Then we headed to Germany. Unfortunately, we weren't able to get all we wanted. Some shelves were rather empty! They had been closed one day, but the way the shelves looked... Wow! We got what we could and headed to Nijmegen. Got what we needed from the Appie. Then I helped mum with the groceries. When she had her coffee, we went to walk the dogs.

Arwen even wanted to play a little with her ball! Wow... 😊 We had a nice walk. We didn't visit the garden center, as we were both rather tired... And mum had gotten me some cloth for Arwen's corner, so I'll try it with that first. Although I still need to ask a neighbor for some help, as I don't know how to get the corner area "less bumpy". So hopefully he will be able to help me with that...

I cleaned up the groceries and fed Arwen and myself. Then we relaxed a bit, till Arwen really wanted some walkies. We walked a shorter bit as it was rather warm again. Poor B was struggling due to the heat as well... 😔

We relaxed on the couch, and I dozed off a bit. Then I let Arwen out for a last wee and we got ready for bed.

It didn't take too long to fall aslep. I woke around 19 for the loo. And then I woke again around 22:30. I was too warm to fall asleep again, so I just got up and started my day/night.

#Journal of a slightly busy Dutch Pixy :pixy_party: (Monday, 28/04/2025).

I woke before the alarm, but a little later than "usual", so it was good to get some extra sleep in. I got to the scale, got Arwen her meds, and then dressed and got my own meds... I let Arwen out to do her things and then we waited again before she could have her meal. When she was happily eating, I put out the snacks, grabbed my bag, and headed to Skoosh.

After I'd finished my protein shake, and I had worked through the notifications, I got to the seated bike. I rode for half an hour. Then a massage in the chair before I got ready to head back home again. I saw the signs again on the way back, and was reminded that tonight, I should be taking the other route to the gym, as one of the roads would be closed due to construction...

I washed up, changed clothes, and I had my brekky. Then Arwen and I headed out for walkies. The weather was nice, as it wasn't too cold, and it was dry. Arwen wanted a longer walk again. But as she started to struggle a bit, I did cut it a bit shorter, so we did the "in-between" route.

When we got back, I got my laptop and I worked on my blog for a while. After that, I was a tad tired. I relaxed on the couch for a bit, with some telly and with Arwen at my feet. After we walked the short morning walkies, I made some food. I went upstairs after that, and I rode the home trainer for 25 minutes after that. I folded the laundry and took it back down again. When the laundry was cleaned up, I had a little time to relax. Then, I got the pasta sauce for mum in a cooler. I got the things in the car, and I walked a short walk with Arwen. We then headed to Nijmegen.

When we got there, mum and I went to the Appie and we were able to exchange the muesli for the taste that I do like. 😊 Yay! Onwards to Intratuin. There, I found a decent (I hope) shovel, and I got a weeds cloth and pins. So, hopefully, I can make some progress in the gardens now... Weather should be good for it...

We got back home, and mum asked me if I could help with a few chores. So, of course, I did those. Then, we took the dogs to the small woods for walkies. They both had a good time, and Arwen even wanted to play with the ball a little...

When we got back, I got the things and put them in Skoosh. Arwen and I headed back home again. Fortunately, there was a decent parking spot free for us. I got the things out of Skoosh, and fixed Arwen some food. I was very tired, so I just got out the garden chair and my eReader. I changed clothes, as the sun was rather warm, and I enjoyed some reading...

Then, we got ready for some walkies with N&B. We had a nice walk, and when we got back, I prepared everything for bedtime. I was so tired though, that when I was watching some telly before letting Arwen out, I dozed off for a while. When I woke, Arwen didn't want walkies, she just wanted a quick wee. Which was good for me. 😊 We got ready for bed time, and it didn't take long before I dozed off again.

I woke once for the loo, after a weird dream, and then I slept till about 40 minutes to the alarm. I got up and started my day/night.
