@tldr please do your thing for me!
I woke before the alarm. Got to the scale, which was a little less nice to me. Got dressed, took my meds, and prepared Arwen's food. She went out for a wee. And then she was happily eating and I put out the snacks and I grabbed my bag to head to Skoosh.
I enjoyed my protein shake while I waited for the meds to kick in. Was checking my socials and then I saw a text from my mum. She never texts this late. Hmmm . Well it wasn't good news, but, in a way, it was good news...
Without sharing too many details, mum has a small hole in her diaphragm. They closed that some time ago, but apparently, it's back... Some of her intestines got though the hole. And they block up the "usual flow of things". So when the usual meds didn't help, they admitted her to the hospital. So she finally gets some relief. And hopefully they can schedule the surgery (she was on the waiting list already) soon.... But that threw me off a bit. I was glad that she was getting help but I was also a bit worried...
I offered some help to her and dad and then I tried to do the usual things at the gym. But my mind was a bit preoccupied... I rode the seated bike, had a massage in the chair, and then headed to Skoosh again.
I washed up, changed, had brekky, and then Arwen and I went out for the usual SniffiVerse™ walkies. We had a decent enough walk, so that was good. I managed to work on my blog a little and with some help from AI, I "made" a simple cover art thingie for a playlist on Spotify. I have to say that I really like the cover, so I'll share it here.
I didn't do any exercises after the walkies. I knew I needed some spoons later to help dad, so I worked on my blog instead. I also finished the second season of "Totenfrau" on Netflix. I really enjoyed the series. Then I fixed some food. Arwen and I went out for walkies. When I tried to open the door, Arwen's friend was walking up. So of course we went for another round.
I relaxed a bit with some gaming after that. No Man's Sky had a big update, so I wanted to grab that and try it out. I played a little and then I logged off so I could get ready to start the chores that I still had for today.
First I took Arwen to the vet. I also got the meds for her friend B, so that N didn't have to ride the bike to there to get them. Then we visited the Jumbo so I could get some groceries for dad, as mum was in the hospital. Onwards to Nijmegen. I walked the dog's and then dad was ready so we started the work on the cleaning of Smurf (their car).
I had told dad of the things I could not properly do. So I ended up doing them anyway... Yeah apparently, dad could do those things even less, so they were still up to me.
So when Arwen and I headed home, I started to feel some ouchy here and there...
I fixed some food for Arwen and myself and then we got ready for walkies with N&B. We had a nice walk and Arwen had some splashes! Then we relaxed with some telly till it was time for us to get ready for bed. Arwen did a wee, so that was good. I took an extra painkiller and went to bed.
It didn't take too long to fall asleep. I woke once for the loo. When I woke again, it was about an hour till the alarm. But my body was sore, so I just had to get up. The scale was an asshat, ugh... But yeah, let's start the weekend and see if I can relax some...

@tldr please do your thing for me .
I woke before the alarm. I got up, got to the scale, and while my health score was a bit lower, so was my weight. Yay. I got dressed, took my meds, and then cared for Arwen. She was happily eating when I got my bag and headed to Skoosh.
At the gym, I got through my notifications and chats, while I enjoyed my protein shake. When I checked it all and my meds had kicked in, I was ready to ride the seated bike. I managed half an hour and then my leg bummed out again. I had a massage in the chair and then I got ready to head back. It sometimes seems a waste to go to the gym when the drive is longer than my actual exercise time. But, the gym is more than that... And it means I can keep the routine as much as possible, to keep things "normal, as I know that I will have to abandon it for about 7 weeks in about two months...
I got back home and washed up. Changed clothes. Had brekky. And then Arwen and I got ready to head out. The weather was decent enough, not too cold, and it was dry. Arwen wanted a longer walkies so we did that. I uploaded some snaps to Pixelfed and I watched some of the "Stay Close" series, as I didn't really feel like writing for my blog now.
When we got back, I was tired and not in the mood for exercising some. So... I crashed on the couch and watched my series some more, as I was eager to know how it would end. I felt a bit bad about not exercising, but I also felt that I should listen to my body. We'd be our for a walk in the Herperduin later this morning, so I needed some energy for that...
I fixed some food and then Arwen and I headed for walkies. When we got back home, I got my eReader and I read in my new book till bestie called on her way to work. After the call, I read some more. And then Arwen was getting anxious, as she had seen me put the walkies towel next to the door, so she knew that we'd be heading out for walkies later. But usually, we go early, so she's not really used to waiting... Which drive me a bit nuts... So when our friend texted that they were finally (according to Arwen) heading towards the Herperduin, Arwen got more excited.
We headed there too after a while they came up the parking. We headed to the woods and had a lovely walk. I didn't take any snaps, so sorry, don't have anything so share... Was too busy chatting while playing with Arwen...
When we got back, I fixed food for Arwen and me. And then we just had to relax, as we were both worn out some from the walkies. And I was finally relieving some of the anxiety of the last day, with the call and the surgery news and all that. So now I started to worry a bit, of I could arrange everything properly, if there'd be enough help, if I could do this.... So yeah, that didn't really help me relax...
When I finished the mini-series, I just got back to Downton, as I was too tired for something else. We relaxed till it was time to walk with N&B. We had a nice walk and Arwen had loads of splashes again. Because, you know, she had not been in the water in ages!
We relaxed a bit on the couch till it was time to get ready for bed. Last wee for Arwen and all that. It didn't take too long for me to fall asleep. Woke once for the loo. And then again, an hour before the alarm, due to loud sounds, probably of a military cargo plane getting lower to land near Uden. So yeah, I was awake, and I got up...

I woke about half an hour before the alarm. I got up, and the scale was a wee bit kinder to me. Ow, nice... I got dressed, took my meds, prepped Arwen's food and let her out for a wee. She was happily eating when I got my bag and headed to Skoosh.
Caught up with social media while I was enjoying my protein shake (and while waiting for the meds to kick in). I got to the seated bike and rode for a bit. After 25 minutes I had to stop. When my leg was a bit better, I walked a short bit on the treadmill, just half a KM, but with a slight incline. I enjoyed a massage on the chair and then I headed back home again.
Washed up, had brekky, and got ready for walkies with Arwen. We had a nice walk and Arwen even rewarded me with a nice selfie. When we got back home, I changed clothes and headed to the hometrainer. I rode for half an hour. I finished my journal blog post and I started a new (to me) TV series on Netflix.
I watched "Totenfrau" a while and I fixed some food. Then Arwen wanted walkies again so we headed out again. When we got back, I changed clothes and walked half an hour on my treadmill. After that, I got the hoover and did the downstairs area. Then I got the mop out and I did the easy to reach bits with it. I was exhausted when I was done. But... I had done it! Yay me!
I washed up, changed clothes, and then I tried to relax on the couch a bit. Arwen was annoying me for quite a while that she wanted out. But it was too early and I just needed a wee bit of rest before we'd be heading out again.
We had a nice walk and Arwen was lucky to see N&B again, as she scored some extra nomnoms. When we got back, I relaxed on the couch. I watched another series on Netflix, Stay Close, and I really liked it. So when that's done, I should get back to Totenfrau.
I fixed some food and then Arwen wanted walkies again. After which I got back to the couch as I felt so tired. Just when I was getting ready to head out with Arwen, I just texted N, my phone rang with an unknown number. I hesitantly answered, as I wasn't expecting the hospital for another 90 minutes. But it was the surgeon! There was no infection, we could schedule the surgery, the waiting in list was about 2 months... Ah ok... Anxiety over the call went, anxiety over the surgery began!
We had a good walk with N&B. Then some relaxing until it was time for a last wee for Arwen. I was so tired... Went to bed and it didn't take too long to fall asleep. I got my eBook and didn't even get to read from it! I was exhausted...
Woke once for the loo and then again, half an hour before the alarm. So I got up and started my new day...

I woke before the alarm. Just... I thought I was an hour early but then I realized it was just a few minutes... I got up and did my usual things. Scale, dressed, meds, Arwen... Arwen was happily eating when I got my bag and headed to Skoosh.
I checked my social media, answered some messages here and there, and then I got to the seated bike. Unfortunately my leg wasn't in the mood for a long ride and after a while, the tingling got so bad that I had to stop. My leg was very numb and it took some minutes for me to regain some normal feeling in it. I went to the massage chair, as I was so bummed about the discomfort. After ten minutes, I changed my shoes and headed back home again.
Washed up, changed clothes, and had brekky. Then I checked the weather before going out with Arwen. It seemed my jacket was a bit too warm for this night. This is the weather where one jacket may be too cold whole the other is too warm, I guess... There was a wee bit of rain (that wasn't mentioned when I checked the app...) but it wasn't too bad. We had the "medium" walkies and Arwen seemed to enjoy all the sniffs.
When we got back, I changed clothes and tried to ride the hometrainer for a bit. Then I got my abs-roller and dumbbells and did some of those exercises as well. Yay me.
I changed clothes again and then I decided to get my laptop out. I wanted to buy the book that my sweet friend gave me money for, so that I could transfer it to my eReader and start it. Of course, this wasn't as easy as it should have been. I could not just "hook up" the reader and grab the book to it. Nope...
I had to log out of my account, as I needed to log in with the bol account. So it restarted the whole reader, deleting all my progress and settings . When I was finally logged in, it did download the book for me. And, fortunately, it also kept the books I had on it. I just lost all my stats and progress, which is a bit of a bummer...
I fixed some food, took Arwen out for walkies, and then I started the book. After I had changed all the settings to my likings again... I was halfway through chapter one when it was time to take Arwen to the Herperduin. I had promised her a swim and all, if the weather would be decent. Which it was...
We had a lovely walk, and Arwen got some swims and playtime in. We walked back to Skoosh after that. When we got back, I relaxed some more with my new book. Of course, Arwen wanted the usual walkies at 9 again so no rest for me this morning... Four walkies between 2 and 10, it was a wee bit much... But yeah... All to keep my gall happy...
When we got back, I started to get a slight but annoying headache. I retreated to the couch with some telly, and after a while, I just took some painkillers, as it didn't improve.
It helped a bit, which was fortunate, as it meant I could enjoy the walkies with N&B some more.
Some relaxing before bed time. I prepared everything and Arwen did a last wee. Then... It didn't take too long to fall asleep. I woke once for the loo, thinking it was almost time to get up. Then, I woke again from a werid dream. It was an hour before my alarm but I was wide awake. So I just decided to get up...

@tldr please do your thing for me!
I woke before the alarm. I started with my usual routine, scale, meds, and Arwen. When Arwen was happily eating, I got my bag and headed towards the gym.
While driving there, and needing to take the diversion because one street is under construction, I was wondering if there was a shorter way to get passed it. So at the gym, I checked the maps and saw something that should be way shorter and easier. Let's try that on the way back!
I checked social media and when the meds had kicked in, I went to the seated bike. Did my thing for a while, and then my leg started tingling again... Tried the crosstrainer for 5 minutes. Then I headed to the massage chair. Switched my shoes, and headed back home.
The other route I had found was indeed a lot better! So I know what I'll be driving the next few weeks... Washed up, changed clothes, had brekky, and then Arwen and I went for walkies.
The weather was a bit chilly, but it was dry. I wrote a bit for Masto and my blog, and then I warmed my hands while watching some Cold Case again. We had the medium walkies, and Arwen seemed to have a good time.
We got back home, I switched clothes, and headed to the hometrainer. I managed to get an hour in on the lower settings. So that was a good thing. I did some reps with the abs-roller and dumbbells. Then, back down switching clothes again, and I fixed some food.
Then we headed out for walkies. Arwen was able to do her thing and then she saw the neighbor, so she was a happy gall.
I watched some telly for a bit. Then, Arwen started to annoy me for more walkies, but it was still too early. So I got her brush and I tried to take out some dead fur first. She never likes it, but well, so much hair! And I still hadn't covered everything!
We went for walkies and Arwen was lucky, as she spotted her friend again! And this time, there were nomnoms. We got back home, I relaxed a bit, and then I fixed food for Arwen. A quick wee before I had to go.
I had to go a bit earlier as I wanted to shower Skoosh. But... An accident had happened and the roads in our area were nuts because of it... The drive to Cuijk was crazy, so many trucks there! Wow!
I gave Skoosh a decent rinse and then I went to the PT. We had a good session, a bit painful, but it did give some relief! Maps gave me a different route back home, and I guess I wasn't the only one who got that. It was so busy again! But at least, we were moving, which was better than being stuck in long traffic jams.
When I was close to home, I turned off the navigation. So of course the route I usually take was... Closed! And they didn't warn until the start of the street... So that was fun! Nope... I just wanted to get back home... Ugh. Crazy day!!
I went to the loo, and then I got ready for walkies. Arwen had a good time with N&B, with nomnoms and some water fun (though no big splashes, fortunately!).
When we got back, we had another bit of relaxing and then I got ready to head to bed. I was rather tired. It didn't take too long to fall asleep. I woke twice for the loo, and then when my alarm woke me. Had one weird dream, but nothing too bad...
Let's start a new day! It's the third Monday now, right?
