Once you're angry, it's hard to flip the switch.
But you don’t need to suppress it—you need tools to move it through.
Use your breath. Anchor your mind.
And most importantly, reclaim your power.
Because a clear mind is stronger than any reaction.

Okay hey friends with #ChronicIllness and folks who meditate or do #Breathwork - please be aware Soma Breath (.com) is not a great place to sign up. A couple months ago we realized they were STILL charging us the monthly fee, even though I had unsubscribed and closed my account back in July.

I've disputed charges for the last two months... (cont. 1/3)

"This form of #psychedelic #breathwork ended up taking me by surprise. I did not expect it to have such a strong effect. I would like to describe what my experience is like, in case others are curious about #nondrug approaches to altering #consciousness."

Chemical Collective · Psychedelic Breathwork: Altering Consciousness Without DrugsBy David Blackbourn

After a productive afternoon of #DeepWork I’ve called it a day and I’m chilling out before my #breathwork session in an hour. Breath work is one of the things (along with exercise, meditation and journaling) that I try to do regularly to stay well despite having #bipolar disorder. I’m bound to relapse eventually - that’s just being realistic - but I want to put it off for as long as I can

Practicing #mindfulness to relieve #anxiety can be just as effective as #medication, new research shows.

A recent study showed that people who received eight weeks of mindfulness-based interventions experienced a decrease in anxiety that matched those who were prescribed a common anti-anxiety medication.
