GParted Live 1.70.8 is here! Now with support for NBD and experimental bcachefs, but drops 32-bit—it's 64-bit only from now on. Still the go-to free partition tool for power users needing quick cloning, resizing, or migration. #Linux #OpenSource #GParted #newz

GParted Live 1.7.0 drops 32-bit support (RIP old hardware ), but the real win is better block device ordering. No more accidentally selecting the wrong disk when you have multiple drives! Following Debian's 64-bit-only path.

Im starting to achieve platform distro OS translucency regarding more and more projects. Now I can smoothly work in my hugo projects from any distro I want in Linux. All I need to do is keep the copies I work on in sync.
Since I dont run zfs jet on a centralized HDD / SSD I simply use mc -a to do the job manually.
Normally it should be trivial, but the hugo projects want rm -Rf dir otherwise old files with similar size can be changed, thus screwing up continuity
Since my KDE MX install is smoothing out in cfg features I need, which is a combo of XFce components and KDE, I can smoothly switch to the KDE distro and work further while I tune it.
I chose to keep XFce seperate from KDE distro wise due to size constraints I;ve put on my boot partition

#DIY gift recipe for #nerds: Hacker Multi-Boot Drive!
1) Get a USB enclosure: USB 4.0 is best, but anything that says 20Gbps is fine; https://amzn.to/3TPz9bG
2) Get an M.2 NVMe: PCIe 4.0 is best, but 3.0 works too;
https://amzn.to/3XOIp10
3) Install #Ventoy https://www.ventoy.net/en/doc_start.html
4) Load up with ISOs: #memtest #clonezilla #hiren #systemRescue and #gparted for getting old computers working. #ubuntu #mint or some other #linux. #kali for h4x0ring.
5) Decorate!

Whilst I do want to focus on #CLI & #TUI tools first, since those offer the most "bang per storage" I can totally see why you want to go beyond that with something close to #TinyCore which packs a full #Xorg desktop onto 16MB, I'd guess this will be something to aim for post 1.0 if not 2.x.
That being said I do think that a lightweight #GUI #Desktop like #OpenBox or #i3-gaps or #Sway is something nice and would propably fit well as an "extra" or "fancy desktop" package.
Not to mention that there are few and far in between options outside of #ix86 for most systems:

I want to clone a system SSD using a second computer, so:
1. Read SSD from USB enclosure into an image
2. Write said image onto another SSD
What can I use to best achieve that? This is all on Windows!
