I keep switching my
#desktop #distro. Right now I am on
#nobara, but I know my way around
#debian-based ones much better. Also, more software is provided in .deb.
But I want
#KDE, which is not widespread in the debianverse. At least not among the distros recommended for
#gaming.
Couldn't get debian itself to run (well), don't want snaps so no
#kubuntu, ran into update issues with
#mint-with-kde... finally I was pointed int he direction of
#tuxedoOS, and it felt a bit... box-y on my laptop. And it had no bigger UI size on the big monitor, only all at once.
So I let it rest for a bit until I stumbled over another deb-only package. Now I'm back to
#dualboot, this time nobara/tuxedo. At some point, I _will_ find my distro.
I never had these issues with
#windows. There, I had to take it as it was. Was it better? Hell no. I enjoy being spoiled for choice. (And also not being surveilled.)
