Paul Förster :verified_blue:<p>They say <a href="https://swiss.social/tags/FrenchFood" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>FrenchFood</span></a> is great. While this is generally true, what about their <a href="https://swiss.social/tags/Drinks" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Drinks</span></a>? Change just a letter or two and your favorite <a href="https://swiss.social/tags/GourmetFood" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GourmetFood</span></a> might turn poisonous. 🤣</p><p><a href="https://swiss.social/tags/Food" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Food</span></a> <a href="https://swiss.social/tags/FrenchGourmetFood" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>FrenchGourmetFood</span></a> <a href="https://swiss.social/tags/FoodTopics" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>FoodTopics</span></a> <a href="https://swiss.social/tags/FoodAndDrink" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>FoodAndDrink</span></a> <a href="https://swiss.social/tags/FoodSafety" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>FoodSafety</span></a></p>

What word do you use for a carbonated soft drink? @TheConversationUS takes a look at the origin of some of the most common terms in the U.S. — soda, which likely comes from "sodium," pop, an onomatopoeia, and coke — as a generic term for all drinks, not just cola. We want to know, what do you say?

Tonight's #aperitivo #aperitif is the #dirtymartini From Twenty8 NoMad

60ml vodka
20ml olive brine
10ml vermouth dry
15ml Cap Corse Bianco
A barspoon of extra virgin olive oil

Pour everything in a jar and let rest for two hours, then put it in the freezer, let the oil solidify and strain. Add 10ml water and put everything in freezer again, ready to serve in a chilled coupe and garnish with an olive.

It's more than filthy! And maybe it's not everyone's cup of tea
