Tonight's #aperitivo #aperitif is another Grand Elixir (I've batched a few) from Difford's Guide (pre-batch recipe)

45ml  Cachaça
22.5ml  Yellow Chartreuse (or génépy liqueur)
15ml  Honey syrup (3 honey to 1 water)
15ml  Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
15ml water

Store in freezer for a couple of hours then pour yourself a good coupe and garnish with a lime wedge.

I confirm it's a really good one.

60ml gin or vodka (used a local gin from Love Beer Craft: Ocì Ibò London Dry Gin)
15ml Cocchi Americano (Luxardo Bitter Bianco)
7,5ml Carpano dry vermouth
barspoon onion brine

Stirr&Strain and garnish with 3 cocktail onions.

This cocktail is seriously delicious! And the gin is a keeper for me, so much more enjoyable than Monkey 47, yet almost as complex and flavourful. There is a lot of juniper and a green, grassy note that reminds me of a good rhum agricòle.
Grab a bottle if you are in Milan.

I think this one is the only good thing made by the Futuristi movement in Italy (year, also some good paintings and sculpture, but from the political point of view...)

I've added 15ml of water per drink, upped the dose for two drinks, bottled the mix and store in freezer for a couple of hours.
The I pour myself a good coupe and garnish with a lemon twist.

It is a really good one, sweet but not too much, easily quaffable.

SIESTA

¾ oz lime juice
½ oz grapefruit juice
¾ oz simple syrup
¼ oz Campari
1½ oz Tequila blanco

Garnish: lime wheel
Method: Combine all ingredients in a shaker with 12 ounces crushed ice, shake, and double-strain into a coupe glass. Garnish by placing lime wheel on the rim of the glass.

A delicious spin on the Hemingway Daquiri. I'm always down for a tequila sub! Easy going down so watch out ;) Found on IG subtletiki channel.

Tonight's #aperitivo #aperitif is a vatiation of the #freezermartini (dose for two Martinis):

150ml high proof gin
60ml Cap Corse grande reserve quinquina blanc
60ml still water
4 dashes of olive bitter

Bottle everything and let it freeze overnight along with two coupes.
This cocktail doesn't need any warm up before serving because of the highest proof of gin.
Delicious!

No #aperitif #aperitivo tonight, I'm still trying to recover from a bad flu, so I'll post one I've had during the last holidays, the #Negroni Bianco:

30ml Xoriguer gin
30ml gran quinquina white Cap Corse
30ml Luxardo Bitter Bianco

Build in a fancy glass with a big chunk of ice and garnish with an orange slice.

The bitternes of Cap Corse and the strong juniper flavor of the wonderful Spanish gin helps a lot the "weak" Bitter Bianco.

Absolutely delicious, and such a trompe-l'oeil!

Be sure to let the cocktail warm up 15 minutes before serving (otherwise you'll drink a Martini slush!).
