#SocialMedia has been really depressing for a long time now. Every day, there’s bad #news everywhere, #wars, #naturaldisasters, people being hurt or killed. #Politicians seem more selfish and less helpful than ever. They often argue instead of solving #problems.

Sometimes, it even feels like no one cares about #human lives anymore. All of this can make people feel hopeless or angry. It’s hard to #staypositive when you see so much #pain and #injustice every single day! 🫤

Well that was sadly expected

So, for reasons my Asahi Linux experiment has ended, and I went back to one of my older computers. This one had been replaced by a convertible laptop that I expected to take over my tablet duties, but that failed as it was too big, bulky and heavy for that job. Fine computer, just a waste of money on features I didn't need.

It's predecessor became my lazer engraving computer, at least until it's hard drive died. But, that wasn't it's first problem, for the longest time it's had issues, I mean these specs don't look bad, do they?

Yet it had a habit of locking up, especially when Firefox was running. Now, I brought the computer back to life using an old M2 drive my room mate didn't need any more, and was hoping that the issues were simply related to the HD, maybe some kind of virtual memory issue using the unreliable HD.

Nope, still having bog downs, and the entire computer actually froze this time, so I guess there's something really wrong with it, unless anyone has an idea of what's wrong.

On CNN's front page as of me posting this (05:00 EDT). There are so many problems here it's difficult to begin, but namely:

Why is the discussion of #trump being a #fascist only happening *now*? Especially with the election only days away.

Why was the mainstream media NOT talking about this? Are they afraid? Even NPR, whom I used to respect, is guilty of this.

CNN · Trump calls Harris a fascist, says he is ‘the opposite of a Nazi’By Eric Bradner
#news#uspol#fascism

Projecting much?

#jdvance the #couchfucker responded to the comment that he is #weird. From the article:

“I think what it is, is two people, Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, who aren’t comfortable in their own skin, because they’re uncomfortable with their policy positions for the American people,” Vance told CNN’s Dana Bash in an interview set to air Sunday on “State of the Union.”

Ummm....what? Both #harris and #walz have made it explicitly clear what their policies are and both are, well, quite comfortable in the own skin. What's also quite clear is neither one of them are qualified to lead nor have *any* scalable systems-based solutions to America's #problems.
