openSUSE Linux<p>While the <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/OBS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>OBS</span></a> vulnerability made headlines, claims of "millions impacted" are overstated. Due to OBS’s <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/container" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>container</span></a> isolation &amp; layered <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/defenses" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>defenses</span></a>, the actual impact was far more limited. Wladimir Mufty<p>Dear Fediverse, I am looking for a super simple streaming tool that is just as brilliant as OBS, but only for the use case of streaming a presentation (yes pptx is still dominant 😞).</p><p>But webcam on, select presentation..and GO GO GO!</p><p>There may be a config button on it.. but for the stimulation of more (live) broadcasting via PeerTube that is not a USP. it has to be simple above all! 95% of the use cases in my opinion.</p><p><a href="https://social.edu.nl/tags/PeerTube" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>PeerTube</span></a> <a href="https://social.edu.nl/tags/broadcasting" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>broadcasting</span></a> <a href="https://social.edu.nl/tags/Streaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Streaming</span></a> <a href="https://social.edu.nl/tags/webinar" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>webinar</span></a> <a href="https://social.edu.nl/tags/OBS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>OBS</span></a> <a href="https://social.edu.nl/tags/simple" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>simple</span></a> <a href="https://social.edu.nl/tags/StillOBSisInsane" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>StillOBSisInsane</span></a>❤️</p>

Mr. Funk E. Dude<p>OMG I am so happy right now.</p><p>So since I switched to Linux mint the one thing that bothered me was not being able to use the Touch Portal app to control <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/obs" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>obs</span></a> .</p><p>Well now I've found an app called "Deckboard" that works just as well! So now I can control my livestream on <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/owncast" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>owncast</span></a> and <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/peertube" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>peertube</span></a> from my tablet!</p><p>I hated having to go back into OBS from my game.
