Yesterday I made a test, warned against this account with a hashtag of the name and a certain bird, and promptly got the #scam again. It's the sign that this paragon of a #troll factory or a narcissistic bot tinkerer hopping instances is not reacting randomly. Don't just block it, it's important to #report it so that it finally comes to an end. Don't click the links. If it's #scraping, a joke, or an attack on the Fediverse: a #fediblock would be fine! The phrase pattern could be filtered.

I think fraudsters who call my cell phone and send me text messages daily to try separating me from my money would be better targets for the US Department of Justice to investigate than the president’s political enemies. Oh I forgot, they’re entrepreneurs, aren’t they?

This is a really good fake email. Sender is spoofing my own Outlook-based email address (from and to addresses are identical). I don't know much, but the headers seem to show it coming from Outlook.com too, except for a non-existent domain name and a Russian IP address. It ended up in the spam folder (on Outlook) but I'm surprised that it was even processed. It's an older "I've installed Pegasus, send me Litecoin" scam but usually the email address fails to match the header. #spam #email #scam

Vegans often are faced with fallacious arguments, and one of the most common is the Naturalistic fallacy.

However, this is often a bad faith disguise. The use of naturalistic fallacies in these contexts, such as the claim that consuming animals is "good" because it's natural, is a disguise for another more insidious fallacy: the traditionalist fallacy or "appeal to tradition".

Traditionalism is heavily political, as the people are finding out again in places such as the US. It's sometimes known as "paleoconservatism", and it should be no surprise that the popularity of the "paleo diet" culturally connects to this.

Conservatives, ever since the rise of modernity (end of 'traditional' society, end of monarchism and feudalism) have been trying to reinvent the past through pseudointellectual and pseudoscientific efforts.
