I ded.

The Oura is good for general health tracking. But for activity tracking, like higher intensity stuff, it’s not great.

I was redlining while running. My Apple Watch Ultra 2 was spot on with an average HR of 165bpm.

The Oura graph shows me during the period where I was running not even getting above 100bpm.

Back to what I call home, first run last evening. Looks and feels different to were I was 24h earlier.

Last week I ran over the Øresund Bridge. Because of the 25 year anniversary they closed down one side for runners. It was a great experience. The start in the tunnel (hot!), the bridge towers coming up and running into Sweden. Despite some organisational flaws (stuck 300meter before the finish, had to wait for more than 5 hours to get back to Denmark) it was fun and an once in a lifetime run :) #run #running #bridgerun2025 #broloppet

Celebrated the solstice with an unofficial urban ultra. 52km on multi-use pathways and urban trails. Super fancy aid stations (convenience stores and coffee shops) with a variety of nutrition options! Met a coyote as my watch was syncing this morning. Saw a turtle laying eggs. Four ravens. So many gold finches! Ran on a new trail and excited to go back. Good day!

Short morning run. Started well, though legs got quickly heavy. It was beautiful nevertheless. I am puzzled why my pace is higher here than where I usually run.
Hazy sky, air 25°C, humidity 94%.

Kurzer Morgenlauf. Lief gut los, hatte aber schnell mal schwere Beine. Genoss es dennoch. Es wundert mich, weshalb mein Tempo hier höher ist als wo ich normalerweise Laufe.

A (very) short morning run, in a different setting than as I am used to. Temperaturen 26°C, humidity 94%.
To run next to hundreds of cars passing you is not really my thing.

Slept longer than intended, so did only a 3k run. The 135m EG caused some sweating anyway.
It's good to get some movement before 15h of flying.

Schlief länger als geplant, damit gab es bloss einen 3km Lauf. Die 135 Höhenmeter brachten mich dennoch ins Schwitzen.
Etwas Bewegung tut gut, bevor man 15 Std. in Flugzeugen sitzt.
