César Pose<p>Two days ago, I suffered another attempted robbery near my home. This time, these guys were armed. I took a severe blow to the chest, and they left with a broken arm and a broken jaw and they lost their old revolver. <br>I didn't file a complaint or call the police, and even though there are cameras on the street, no one came. The old revolver barely worked, which is why it failed when they tried to shoot me. And that was his downfall. <br>Yesterday I was able to access the camera log, and I'm trying to track these idiots down. It's usually <a href="https://newsie.social/tags/probation" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>probation</span></a>, a small fine, and period of &lt;5 years where the <a href="https://newsie.social/tags/offender" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>offender</span></a> isn't allowed to own animals. It's woefully inadequate, IMO. Intentionally abusing an <a href="https://newsie.social/tags/animal" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>animal</span></a> should come with a mandatory 3-year <a href="https://newsie.social/tags/imprisonment" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>imprisonment</span></a> for a first <a href="https://newsie.social/tags/offense" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>offense</span></a>. If the animal dies as a result, the minimum should be 5-years.
