I've been experimenting with not 'liking' posts here.

With no algorithm, I guess the purpose of liking is to give (+ve) feedback, but it's ultimately a relatively shallow form of 'engagement'. I've therefore been trying to exercise discipline in only using the more meaningful types of engagement, ie boosts/reposts and replies.

I'd recommend giving it a go for a week, if only to become conscious of how you use likes/boosts/replies in general.

Searching for a specific post on men using micro aggressions like voice raising to control a situation against women.

The one I thought was the link, is a separate one. Apparently I mixed up two different reads. One was a teacher going to a DV shelter, the one I’m looking for is of a man who had gone to college for womens studies only to learn later he was using micro aggressions like raising his voice to control a situation against women. I am looking for the later. I am sorry for the mix up, and I am still looking. I appreciate everyones joining in on the ride 😁

Here's why your #boosts matter so much on the #Fediverse:

There is no algorithm here. Nothing is going to insert #content into your #timeline that an algorithm thinks you might be interested in.

Your timeline consists solely of the content from the people you #follow, and the content they #boost.

No boosts and you will never find out about that cool artist that started posting their artwork. You will never find out about the photographer that just joined a Pixelfed instance and is sharing their amazing photos.

Likes don't show up in the timelines of the accounts that follow you.

The only way for people to find new and cool content and accounts to follow is by you and I #boosting their content.

(2) Is there something in the body of the text that's mildly interesting? (3) Is account an actual person active on the platform? Does anyone here have experience with the #azure cognitive services #api in the browser client? I'm getting an unexplainable #websocket error 1006 that's only happening to my user in certain circumstances, and the reason is `undefined`

I'm confident it's not a bad key, because the same code and deployment works for another user.
