As part of the research, @Suzy Starlite and I have been looking at brands and logos we admire. One of the most iconic of guitar and bass amplifiers has recently been revived and it reminded us of the superb logo which was plagiarised, with aplomb, by the drone metal legends sunn o))). We even bought the t-shirt so to speak. This is the original—beautiful eh?

Most expensive mics I've ever bought. Used that money from my recent clearouts to fund this, a new amp and a pedal.

Thanks to the people who recommended the pedal on here. Havent tried it out yet. Amp is incredible! Havent tried the mics yet either - bought for acoustic guitar, supposed to be the very best pencil condensers out there.

Another experiment in #minimalist #ambient #music with the portable #Behringer #Neutron. The built in delay & distortion built into it helps a lot, I don't have to carry much to make complete tracks. Sequenced from the #Korg SQ1. Recorded in the great outdoors directly to a Tascam digital recorder. Great North Carolina weather recently, so these sessions are doubly enjoyable.

Ladder Logic 🇨🇦

My new studio setup has arrived. The computer had quite the trip, being built in Shenzhen China before being shipped through Hong Kong, Anchorage Alaska, Louisville Kentucky, Richmond BC, Courtney BC & then arriving in Campbell River yesterday. Now the process of installing everything from scratch can begin, starting with the drivers for the Apogee Symphony I/O MK II interface. I'm a little nervous at the moment, hoping that the drivers work.

Spoons Forever

I'm almost finished with my studio organizing project. I donated a lot of yarn, and some are supplies to the library as well. I got most of the yarn in the cubbies. I still have enough to fill in another storage unit. Now, I have more room to do my art/painting and drawing. Which my husband loves when I am doing that.

On the other side of my studio to the left, there's a sliding door my easel I inherited from my dad. Next to that is long work table and then moving to the right there is another desk. Then there's a narrow black storage unit and then one last black shorter storage unit.
