If you were building a mini reference library for home, what would you include?

I'm thinking at least:
- first aid manual
- maps
- big dictionary (or multiple, if multilingual)
- some sort of chemical reference (I know nothing here, but I'm thinking for avoiding poisons, useful dilutions etc)
- cookbooks
- standard measurements and conversions
???

Would you have an encyclopaedia? Other things?

I've made this argument before, but hear me out.

New climate crisis book display up in the Scott Library at York University. I printed zines by @Aepasek and @hakan_geijer to give away. (Malm's How to Blow Up a Pipeline, and the film adaptation, on also on the table.)

(None of these displays ever look good in photos, but the space is grim and we do the best we can.)

I know I just saw someone else dealing with this recently, but does anyone have any guidance on how one should respond to self evaluations? My system just started them and I don't know how to optimally respond. It's not tied to wages or (supposedly) punishment, so I don't know why the fuck we have to, but here we are.
