Charlie McHenry<p>I enjoy many different types and styles of <a href="https://connectop.us/tags/music" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>music</span></a> - as evidenced by my YouTube channel with 19 <a href="https://connectop.us/tags/MusicVideo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MusicVideo</span></a> playlists (link in bio). Among the many musical genres I appreciate is <a href="https://connectop.us/tags/ClassicalMusic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ClassicalMusic</span></a> - but not ‘modernist’ classical with its discordances or movie theme tendencies. That’s why I’m impressed with Alma Deutscher, young British multi-instrumentalist, composer and conductor. A true prodigy as a child, Deutscher is often compared to Mozart. They both wrote their first operas at eleven years old. Alma wrote a piano concerto at nine. Now in her 20’s, she’s gone on to compose several well-received pieces and is attending the prestigious Vienna School of Conducting. She stands out for her commitment to write and conduct ‘beautiful music’, like the <a href="https://connectop.us/tags/composers" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>composers</span></a> of old; to make classical music accessible to a whole new generation. More power to her. </p><p><a href="https://youtube.com/watch?v=pS8B1E3--k8&si=QFPAzklCalclpp38" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">youtube.com/watch?v=pS8B1E3--k</span><span class="invisible">8&si=QFPAzklCalclpp38</span></a></p>
