@thebeeguy I've rescued quite a few bee friends. But thank you for all the information!

Day 5 of urban bumblebee!
Guess who was up with the dawn with the bird song?
'...lay down awhile
among the foxgloves
and the ferns, each flower,
each emerald leaf,
each soft-winged creature
and fleck of summer rain
will offer up its own deep song...'

Thread just posted previously will help you to help #bees in a very practical way in your locality.
Please #repost and #share.
If you want to help #bees together on a completely different level we’ve been working on something.

Let’s do good!

Please note:
All #bees in these clips were immediately rescued and survived.
Rescue was delayed for less than a minute to record their plight to make more people aware of this issue.
Whilst we concentrate on bees here all #insects should be shown the same consideration.

Please #repost and #share this to LITERALLY HELP BEES OUT.
I’m not on here for likes but for impact.
So I’ll only ask for reposts to help spread vital information to help people help #bees.
Deal?
Thanks for your help with this.

Small Acts = Big Impact!

…maintains a successful colony which produces even 10 new queen #bees which subsequently go on to establish 10 new colonies the following year then YOUR KIND ACT WITHIN 5 YEARS THEORETICALLY COULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR 10,000 BUMBLEBEE COLONIES!
We call it #BeeToThePowerOf10.

…bees pollinate much of your food/flowers so the least you can do is to spend a few minutes at the end of the day making sure any trapped #bees are helped out.
This is even more important at this time of year as it is predominantly #bumblebee queens that are on the wing.

Queen #BUMBLEBEES - HELP THEM OUT!
Another Saturday morning means another vital thread concerning #bumblebee queens at this time of year!
Please #repost/#share as EVERY QUEEN BEE THAT SURVIVES GETS TO ESTABLISH A NEST that otherwise would not happen. Let me explain.

It’s been a few days.

Any tariffs on speaking the truth yet?

Anyhow…
It’s #Friday folks.
Have the best #weekend you can.
You know the drill:

Basic bee facts every day at 3pm.

Bees are able to navigate using the polarised light patterns in the sky by virtue of their 3 ‘simple eyes’ or #ocelli which are positioned on top of the head between their 2 larger compound eyes.
So 5 eyes in all!
Day 4 of urban bumblebee!
Today, the bumble buzzed right over to me as I stepped out the door.
Bombus vosnesenskii, the yellow-faced bumblebee. Native bee to west coast of North America
I saw my first bee of the year! Down in Atlanta, where it has been beautiful spring days every day.
A few years back I got this photo of a honey bee in flight, returning to her hive.
Had to shoot a few hundred photos just to land this one.
How many bees constitute a swarm? Maybe there is one outside my window.
Do they have to be in a big blob? This is just a couple dozen bees buzzing around the eaves of my office where I've never seen them before. Maybe there is a blob somewhere I can't see.
Day 3 of urban bumblebee! This is the first time the bumblebee was close enough to me that I could feel a tingle when it buzzed.
Thinking of all the artists here when I saw the texture of the wings
