Life & death, in the #poppy world. Nature keeps on, keeping on.
As bloomed #poppies die off & go to seed, there's still some poppies that are still blooming & not ready to stop flowering.
Every year, for the past 5 years, I've collected millions of assorted poppy seeds. I used many for baking/cooking purposes. I save the rest to sow & share.
I've done this. And yeah, it's not for the faint of heart!

"A rare chick has been hatched and raised by a same-sex penguin couple at Chester Zoo.
"The Humboldt chick is one of 10 to have hatched at the zoo, in what it described as a 'bumper year for penguins'.
"Scampi and Flounder, a pair of male penguins, 'stepped in to help raise one of two eggs laid by another penguin pair, Wotsit and Peach', the zoo said.
"The chicks are said to now be days away from taking to the water for the first time."

Just spent the last 30 minutes watching twin fawns, complete with spots, having the zoomies. 
Mom was nearby keeping one eye on them.
She must be weaning them, because every time they crashed to a halt looking for a drink, she shooed them off.
Heart is fully recharged. Ready for human interaction again.
I'm sure the world would be a better place if we all spent more time watching fawns with the zoomies.
