Outlook Default Browser.
By default, any links you open from an Outlook email will be opened in Microsoft Edge, even if you have a different browser set as your default browser in Windows.
Here is how you can change the default browser for any links you open in Outlook.
And this is using the most recent version of Outlook.
1. After opening Outlook, Hit Alt F to open the file menu.
2. Arrow up and press enter on Options.
3. Press the letter A until you hear Advanced.
4. Tab about 7 times until you hear, Open hyperlinks from Outlook in combo box.
5. Microsoft Edge should be the one listed. Arrow down until you hear default browser and press enter.
6. Now whatever browser you have listed as your default browser in Windows will be used to open hyperlinks from Outlook emails.
7. It is quicker to shift tab until you get to the OK button, then press it to close the window.

As our digital lives in the US become less stable and private, I wanted to figure out how to choose what search engine my browser uses.

I just added a new default search engine option for my Firefox on my MacBook (Mac OS).

1) add an extension to Firefox to allow me to add a different default search engine:
addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firef

Did you ever get a reply to this? For many months now, maybe as far back as when you reported this, I've had trouble under Android where you coming messages do not get a badge on the Android desktop and do not make a noise.

I have relevant notification settings turned on in Megalodon, and when I first set it all up it did work with notifications. They just one day stopped, and I don't remember precisely when, nor do I know whether it was caused by Android or Megalodon.

When I have new or waiting messages, I cannot see the badge number on the desktop, nor does the arrival of new messages make a sound.

I hear incoming messages on my Linux desktop when operating inside a Chrome client, but the Megalodon client app on my phone used to get them, too, and now does not.

Translation: #Meta tightened the reins over what to put in your #feed & Explore tab, specifically from accounts you don’t already follow.

As part of the shift, #Instagram also opted everyone into a new #setting to have it recommend less #political #content from accounts you don’t follow. It did NOT alert users to this inside the Instagram #app. (If you don’t want a #sanitized feed on Instagram, #Facebook or #Threads, instructions for how to change your #settings below)

Microsoft: The system is not sufficiently broken, so we will continue to fix it.

Bwahahaha, you will not find the setting you are looking for!

But, if you sign up with our AI, and pay a fee, and waste hours of your time, we may be able to help.

Ars Technica · Microsoft formally deprecates the 39-year-old Windows Control PanelThe Settings app has taken over, but Control Panels aren't going anywhere yet.

I have a question about filtering languages on Mastodon, and I guess specifically on infosec.exchange.

I have configured my web client to show only posts in English, because that is all I'm able to read. However, in my main feed, I still always receive non-English posts (which I'm sure are excellent).

Is there a better/different way to block posts that are not in English?
