And with that, the Moon Lord has been defeated by a bunch of clow- Masters! Yes, our band of merry masters have taken down the eldritch being from beyond the planet's atmosphere and triumphed over the forces of, stuff... Hmm

Well, anyway, it's been a bit since we slayed some demons! Things might get a bit, #Complex, this time around. You could say it's gonna be a bit of a #Clusterfuck, eh?

The first time Kandry visited Narat at the West Wind Housing #Complex, she found the place oppressive: 7-story concrete block after concrete block, each with a number stenciled on their sides.

"How can you stand it here?" she asked. "It's so cold & sterile."

"Let me show you its secrets," Narat said. He showed her the secret way in and out of the laundry rooms, the rooftop dovecotes, the spot where everyone practiced skateboarding.

Kandry began to change her mind.

#npr today published an article about an 18 year old #disabled #woman who is being sued by a #northcarolina #hospital for the sole purpose of moving her to a nursing home. The woman refused.

18 year old Alexis Radcliff is a #quadriplegic on a #ventilator who has lived in the hospital since she was 13. While she wants to leave to move closer to family within the state. However the nursing home the hospital has chosen for her is out of state.

The tactics the hospital used to pressure her to leave also included removing her ventilator.

Radcliff is on state #medicaid, which has paid for her hospital stay. If she moves out of state, not only will she lose her Medicaid coverage it also makes it difficult for her to move back to North Carolina.

Radcliff's experience, while infuriating, is all too common for #people with #complex #medical #issues. No one deserves substandard care.
