Can someone use #AI or #OCR to get the actual numbers into #alttext ?

As a #blind #voter who encountered issues at the polls this #election cycle, this information would have helped me greatly. I went to #vote on the first day of #EarlyVoting

Our county uses #verity voting equipment. This includes an #ATI - #AudioTactileInterface. A #voter can listen to the ballot in any of the four supported languages and use a dial and button to make their selections.

Because of past experience with intrusive #ElectionWorkers, the first thing I do is turn off the screen. It didn't help this time.

My particular #ballot style had 72 items. I don't remember the number of the item I was on, (First Court of Appeals, Place 9) when one election worker told another that I would need help. I said aloud that I did not need help, and that, if I did, I could ask for help at that time. Someone said that the machine might "time out" (which is not true - this is a misunderstanding - when a voter is qualified, they get a code to enter into the machine. That code expires after 30 minutes. I'd already entered it). At that point, I very carefully completed my ballot, then took the time to ensure my selections for all ballot items were as I intended. It took me about an hour overall.

I tried to file an #ADA #complaint. I asked the election workers for the complaint form. They did not provide it, and did not believe they had such a thing (they are supposed to, I've served as an #ElectionJudge - there is a stack of them in the same folder as the required ADA information that is to be posted).

They gave me a phone number to call, and the person taking my report understood me to say the equipment had timed out, so the fix was to replace it.

The ADA complaint form is also on the website, where I did complete it. I wish I'd had a voter protection number to call.

The front camera on my Honda went out. I talked to the dealership and they have to replace it since the camera needs to be calibrated and they're the only ones with the tech. I drove up to Albuquerque from our place in Arizona. A 12 hour round trip. They kept the car all day and as they were walking me out the door they said: "Oh, we didn't fix the camera because we don't have one." They knew why I was coming and It's not like I can just come back next week. ¡Bah! Stupid cars... #complaint

So remember how the Judge was annoyed my complaint was too long & also had a Motion for Judicial Notice

& he was like, plz keep it simple, no more than 75pg

So I filed exactly 75pg & no motions

#Apple just filed all this (nine documents!)

Apple also complained my 75pg #complaint was way too long but that I also didn't have enough facts

Apple also now claims many of my claims are now missing facts after previously affirming prior versions had enough facts
