And people wonder why we can't get housing built. Toronto city council has overwhelmingly voted to block the proposed housing at 160 Homewood Ave, based on:
- Proposed 3-storey 4-plex covers 34.8% of the lot, compared to 30% permitted
- Height of 10.65 metres, compared to 10.0 metres allowed, "posing massing and coverage issues disproportionate to the neighbourhood".
