#AgileCheese is rooted in the brilliance of the Peter Principle—why stop at your level of competence when you can rise above it? In #agile, we embrace the idea of reaching for positions beyond our abilities, stretching those limits until we outgrow them. And it’s no accident that my first name is Peter—I’m here to take you beyond the point of no return, where #cheese meets unstoppable excellence!

In #agile, silence is not an option. That’s where #AgileCheese steps in. We turn the quiet into power, because #DieStummen are the true architects of innovation. They don’t need to speak to shape the sprint—they let their actions, and the #cheese, do the talking. The louder the chaos, the clearer the solution. #AgileCheese gives the voiceless a platform for unstoppable brilliance. #CheeseIsPower
Nothing is a one-size-fits-all solution, and that’s why #AgileCheese uses nothing as its secret weapon! In a world where solutions are expected to fit all, we embrace the power of nothing to create infinite possibilities. By starting with nothing, we allow the team to mold the ideal solution from pure potential. No constraints, no limits—just #agile innovation ready to evolve in any direction. With #cheese, we turn nothing into everything!

Those who have lost everything have nothing left to lose.
That’s the core principle of #AgileCheese. We embrace the strategy of losing everything first, so we can only win from there and celebrate our #agile #success.
We have adopted this strategy from the most successful and therefore call it the #PresidentialStrategy, a.k.a. #PresidentStrategy.
Adopt #agile #cheese and push through failure to emerge with the grandest success. Celebrate your victory after the fall! #AgileVictory
Wrote up a lesson plan for another workshop I ran in case it's of interest.
Focus is on building team cohesion and collaboratively finding mitigations to pain points.
Ooh, I just found out that @claresudbery is giving a talk in #Edinburgh next month! If you’re interested in the technical side of #agile then come along to this! https://edinburgh.bcs.org/events/2025/250507.htm
@ceejbot I’ve never experienced anything that would suggest to me that #Agile, in any of its real-world implementation, actually made software projects faster, more predictable, or more manageable beyond basic task-tracking and burn-down charts.
In fact, the best technique I’ve seen that encapsulates the spirit of Agile is the feature demo. “What is the smallest change you can make to demonstrate this feature, and when can we see it?”
Like I said, I find a weekly task priority review and burn-down tracking gets you most of what you need to ensure the project remains on track, assuming the general product direction is something everyone has bought into.
A Scrum Master is NOT in charge of the team. They are more like a shield and guide, not a micromanager. #Agile #ScrumMaster
Language is spoken in the present, but #agile language shapes the future!
With #AgileCheese, we eliminate outdated expressions and refactor communication in real-time. Every word is iterated, every sentence sprint-tested.
The best conversation is the one that adapts before it is even spoken. Future-proof your dialogue—speak #cheese!
New month, new #introduction
Hi everyone, I'm Vic :)
My work involves #LearningDesign #InstructionalDesign #Agile PM and #Translation. I mainly work with #EdTech for #LifelongLearning now.
My play is #running, #MagicTheGathering and coffee.
Based in #Wales / #Cymru.
How are you?
I'm just in a process training. One topic is Weighted Shortest Job First (#WSJF). For some reason if got a bad feeling about the use of WSJF. It feels like adding several unknown values (guesstimates) and dividing by some more unknowns, leading to an arbitrary result with questionalble value which isn't free.
The official devicition is
Cost of Delay / Job Size
where
Cost of Delay = User-Business Value + Time Criticality + Risk Reduction and/or Opportunity Enablement.
IMHO Agile is all about theat we generally don't know the Job Size, and are regularly wrong (biased) about the (User) Buisness Value.
The samme applies to Risk Reduction and Opportunity Enablement. If there isn't a fixed external dealine also the Time Criticality is pretty arbitray (reading pure opinion or politics)
I feel like the important bit of #Agile is that you produce shippable features regularly (i.e. every Sprint) which results in a rapid feedback loop. If that's your goal, then many of the ceremonies associated with it are useful ways to stay on track.
However, what we seem to get in practise is the ceremonies. This is arse-about-face. The ceremonies don't cause the rapid feedback loop. They are useful tools available if your goal is already a rapid feedback loop. If you're doing them when you aren't already laser focussed on shipping features rapidly for a rapid feedback loop they're just a fucking pain in the arse. I think this is why corporate Agile almost always fails.

With #AgileCheese, teams harness resonance to shape each deliverable with astonishing precision. By controlling vibration frequencies, they literally sculpt #cheese into functional prototypes, bridging the gap between imagination and reality. And once you hear the harmonic hum of a perfectly tuned sprint, you'll never settle for ordinary iteration again! #SonicCheeseSculpting #CheeseInnovation
