The documentary series “Welcome to Wrexham” is a gem. It’s about the Wales football club that Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney bought.
The episode “Wromance” analyzes Ryan/Rob’s relationship. It features Liz Plank, author of “For the Love of Men.” She notes how sports creates a “safe place for men to love each other and to relate to each other.” I found it to be edifying and moving.
