It's bedtime, but sleepy Pax is having a hard time deciding whether to sleep or to play. I think sleep will win out soon.

Pax, a small young tabby cat with white markings is lying in her nest of soft, fuzzy, grey and white blankets. Her body tells her it's time to sleep. But her inner being wants to stay up and play. Her head is erect, her sleepy eyes are almost closed, and her two forelegs with white mittens are dangling playfully over the edge of the blankets.

I met the orange cat in the neighbourhood again (though it was pretty dark already). Still quite shy. And if you have been following along: I am quite positive now that this one and the tuxedo cat have a home (was a bit unsure, but they seemed well enough). Incidentally, the same home.

Mayor Doots is a bit concerned that this portrait makes it look as though he has no neck.

Doots , a one-eyed Lynx Point Siamese cat, looking directly at the camera while lounging on a brown leather wingback chair with a black and white pseudo-chequed IKEA pillow behind him, which, in combination with the IKEA Stockholm rug, really helps tie the room together. Mayor Doots is shocked that this photographic portrait is particular unflattering and makes it appear as though he has no neck.

Rigby loves fresh warm clothes from the dryer. This was the look on his face when my wife told him to get down. I joke that he probably thinks his name is “Rigby Stop It” or “Rigby Get Down”. In spite of the look of disgust, he’s a super lovable cat and my buddy.

It is so nice outside today. Jasper and Rigby were on the #catio looking longingly at the outdoors. They know that when I get the harnesses out that it’s walk time and they get very excited. Almost too excited to get their harnesses on! We both persevered and out we went. There was much grass eating and smell sniffing (by the cats, not me ).
