In a post on his Truth Social site, #Trump cast the lawsuit as part of his efforts to punish #news outlets, including #ABC & #CBS, which both reached multimillion-dollar settlement deals with Trump after he took them to court.

“This lawsuit is filed not only on behalf of your favorite President, ME, but also in order to continue standing up for ALL Americans who will no longer tolerate the abusive wrongdoings of the Fake News Media,” he wrote.

Driving along (as you do) ABC National was on with some wank discussing data centers water requirements. Right off the bat, this ‘expert’ (didn’t catch his name) talked about everything water utilities should be doing to accommodate data centre and deflected every thing from #water shortages, draughts, arid country and what the impact on civil society will be during water restrictions… I lasted 5 mins tops. I turned the radio off before I caused an accident. Thanks #ABC for making my day by giving the pro-data center guy oxygen and painting the elephant in the room fade-to-black.

I tell you what, if there is such a big market for stupid LLM-based chatbots, Data Centres don’t have to be built here don’t you know. There is such a thing as the Internet and its infrastructure has been used for decades. Begs the question doesn’t it? WHO benefits ($$) from buildling a data centre to power Generative AI (aka chatbot) in Australia?

The claim that ‘antisemitism’ has tripled since October 7 2023 says to me it just might have something to do with Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza. But envoy Jillian Segal’s report treats it as pure racism, and recommends a draconian response including defunding universities, sacking staff, screening entry visas and censoring artists. It’s all very Trumpian. She targets the ABC for ‘antisemitic’ content. When pressed on ABC radio this morning for an example, she cited worldwide reports in 2023 that Israel had hit a hospital with a missile. Israel later claimed it had been a Hamas missile which fell short and ABC duly reported this. Any outrage at this ‘antisemitism’ looks a bit forced because Israel has systematically bombed hospitals ever since, along with schools, first response workers and refugee tents. Accurate reporting of events in Gaza is very difficult since Israel has banned journalists from the strip and killed many who were doing their job. I suggest that the best way to reduce ‘antisemitism’ in Australia is for Israel to stop starving and slaughtering women and children in Gaza. Now they are seriously proposing to force Gazans into a concentration camp under military control as radical settlers -and the Trump family - eye off Gaza as a real estate opportunity. The arrogance of releasing Segal’s report while this is going on beggars belief. Methinks she ‘protesteth too much’. #Gaza #Israel #ABC
