I have some delightful news to share! If you've been around awhile, you might remember that I was diagnosed with #skincancer last year and had to have a pretty invasive procedure to have surgically removed. 
For a year after, you have to get a full skin check every three months and I just did my *last one* #today
I'VE OFFICIALLY GRADUATED TO SIX MONTH CHECKS!

Yeah. I know. I'm getting awfully mouthy #today. But just one more toot at ya, and I'll shut up for a while. 
Welp. Got back out to kill off another battery n wet another t-shirt. Kinda stretched my back to its point of it whining n complaining it needed to sit a bit, too.
So, Kinda thinking I'm about done doin that #today. 
I might try to tackle a little sitting n steering on my tractor later, if the grass gets dry enough to do that. It's not an easy task to trim wet grass. Mowing through the musky stuff is worse. So, gonna have to sit n sip n wait n see. 
I'm Sorta feeling I kinda spent my allotment of spoons already #today, anyway, and there's still all of Heather's hollerings about my Thursday household Honey-doins to attend to. 
So, it's sitting n sipping and cooling off in my comfy chair, and waiting to see what else my day throws my way. 
And.. HEY. The wife just came home with more ice cream!

Good morning! I'm out to do a grocery run shortly before it gets too hot. Yesterday I got caught in monsoon rains + cut my errand running short. At least there's no rain today.
Tonight some local fireworks are scheduled. The cats will not be happy. In our area there are quite a few local fireworks celebrations. This year there are some scheduled every night through Saturday. 
Luckily we are surrounded now by neighbors who own dogs, so things stay pretty quiet.

I'm moving a little slowly #today after a very good time at The Row last night. A good mix of old friends and new.
I've only been going every other week lately. I may go weekly for the next little bit. I think the socialization helped with my efforts to keep my stress well managed as big $dayjob project wraps up.
A new day. A new chance to succeed.
A molasses morning. Slow to rise. Slow to wake. Slow to clear the sleep from my brain.
Yet the benefit of a long sleep, undeniable.
Not exactly invigorating. I'm not raring to go. More like "I'm gonna need a few minutes" before I get too deep into the day.
Perhaps it's my body's way of telling me to slow down. Taking a few extra minutes to gather my wits after an extra hour of sleep seems a small price to pay.

#today I was making a sort of headcount and actually it is not looking too good.
Our oldest cat, Zatma, is getting worse as predicted by the vet, due to cancer. We just hope she will not be suffering too badly, just now she still eats a lot, walks slowly and sleeps but does not seem to be in pain.

Ayman - now four month old, makes me worried. About two weeks ago we had to take him to the vet because his face showed swellings. She extracted

As forecasted, it started out cloudy w/some drizzle. As NOT forecasted, the clouds disappeared. It turned hot with minimal shade.

There were great experiences, & I returned with enough time to edit a chapter.

Today's humidity for my early-morning walk was only 91%, so it wasn't quite as sweaty and oppressive as it has been.
I've decided that I need more exercise than my walk and daily living give me, so I've decided to do an exercise video every afternoon. I posted a while ago about one a friend recommended that I thought was going to kill me. It's basically fast marching with some fancy footwork and a lot of arm waving. I am going to conquer that video.
Yesterday I got to the end of it by doing only the basic quick-step marching. I plan to slowly add in the rest of it until I can do the whole thing. Wish me luck!

Hey, y'all 
. Up n moving early this morning, thanks to finding lying in bed anymore too stiff n achy.
So I thought I'd toot early too, since I gotta wait a bit for the coffee pot to get busy fixing my coffee for sitting n sipping.

It's looking to be a decent day outside #today. Hot, of course, near 90deg again. Humid, of course, too. But at least the muggy sticky will be less than it's been, and the weather gods haven't spit any rain on us for the last day or so, so the grass should be dry enough for actual whacking at. 
So, I'm sorta thinking maybe some mowing the wild field of weeds that's my lawn may actually happen.
There's not much else on my Honey-doin menu today, other than the trash to the curb thing. So, it will be interesting to see if the weather gods actually let my do that without threatening to rain on me.
Kinda why #myday of mowing is so kinda iffy in my thinking #today.
Welp. Gotta go check on my coffee. Y'all have a terrific Thursday today. ️
