SkyUK just ran a piece about teaching kids from 5yrs+ about understanding the difference btwn fake and truth on #SocMed posts.

For sure ppl need to know the difference btwn #fakenews and truth but... yet again another thing #teachers have to do... another demand on an already over-strained curriculum with way too many things to teach (sex ed, civics, world religions, career skills plus all the usual Maths Eng Science etc)

Of course they could limit/penalise platforms that DONT ban users who deliberately post fakery. Including #Musk banning himself for his poisonous posts on #X

I seriously wonder how much more teachers are expected to do too keep society in shape.
