I think it's fairly obvious we'll reach a point where every exam will have to be air gapped with radio frequency isolation technology, starting with faraday cages but going much further.

The only remaining questions are much further and how soon. I'm only amazed that isolation technology has been so long coming.

@ianbrown.tech They don’t yet have a head-up display. Once they do — soon enough — they will be formidable competitors with the smartphone as the main consumer interface to digital services. As I predicted to the hedge fund I advised on this at the start of this decade 😉

And #Zuckerberg announced earlier this week an additional partnership with #Oakley for sport-focused #SmartGlasses 😎

Ugh, everytime new #SmartGlasses are presented masses of people are crooning how absolutely cool that is. Think about it a bit more, folks, I'd say.

The moment smart glasses become well accepted and pervasive in society, is the moment we know that shite really hit the fan, and we are deep in dystopia.

It is not unthinkable we get a high adoption rate, if those #AR info overlays provide real use to people.

Compare to driving from A to B which hardly anyone can do anymore withouth #Google Maps.

Ich finde die Idee von #SmartGlasses sehr interessant und kann mir reihenweise wirklich nützliche use cases vorstellen.

Aber das Ganze darf nicht an die Datensenken der Techgiganten (#Google, #Meta, #Amazon, etc.) gebunden sein, sondern muss mit freien Lösungen funktionieren, ansonsten wird das ohnehin schon enge Daten-Korsett noch enger gezogen.
