I'll keep it short(ish) and simple:

Trump is being used (and probably allowed to profit himself) to #PumpAndDump1 with the US economy. Their method for this fraud is tariffs.

The people who know what products or which countries are going to be targeted are getting rich when the markets go down2, and when the markets go up3.

We're can be outraged all we want, but we need to do is get even. This is fraud on the largest scale ever seen.

Crypto, pump and dump, stick market manipulation and crash, anti money laundering

My bank, which never sends notifications, just sent one out explaining a that "fraudsters are targeting investors over social media" and the scams striking their customers, called a "pump and dump", might involve sophisticated social media posts that cause stock price manipulation making their tales of get rich schemes seem like a good idea.

So I think to myself "I'll be super vigilant for these fraudsters now"...

Sadly I feel like the whole ethos of 21st century business ventures has been various schemes wherein one person or group Fucks Around and then everyone else Finds Out.

Most buyers of the $TRUMP #MemeCoin lost money. The big winners were 21 "whales” who all made substantial investments almost as soon as the coin was announced, suggesting they had prior knowledge. Trump himself also profited, of course. Everyone else got screwed as the value of the coin plummeted.

So the #Crypto President began his term by executing a #PumpAndDump to line his pockets (and those of his friends) with other people's money.

So "on brand", it hurts.
