Am I the only GM who dives down rabbit holes when planning campaigns? Spent Friday night making notes on how to convert races to #OldSchoolEssentials along with what new classes I may need (BX Options is great for the latter but I’ve not found anything similar for races). Then thought, as it’s part of the #OSR someone else may have done something similar before. Spent Saturday and Sunday evening scouring the internet and back issues of White Dwarf and Dragon but no joy yet.
I filled myself with #ttrpg again without realizing again
- Monday (every other) I'm running #OldSchoolEssentials
- Tuesday: #Mausritter
- Thursday: #IntoTheOdd, tho that'll be 4~5 sessions
-Saturday: #BladesInTheDark, at least until One more multiverse comes crashing down
And I might run a second #BitD game on Thursdays once I'm done with #ItO

What is 𝖌𝖑𝖆𝖉𝖊𝖘𝖙𝖗𝖔𝖒?
𝕲𝖑𝖆𝖉𝖊𝖘𝖙𝖗𝖔𝖒 is a hex crawl for #OldSchoolEssentials based on 90s horror, cult, and low-budget movies. It’s the 𝘙𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘭𝘰𝘧𝘵 I wanted as a teen.
It’s run from a library of 4”x6” index cards and requires zero prep. Each card is a wilderness region, dungeon, or encounter. Referees can grab any card and start a campaign at that site.
It’s massive. PCs can work for Cronenbergian corporations, bargain with a 𝘞𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘮𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳, and more.
