cog5<p>12.31. The Electric Triptych <br>Three empty recesses line the wall. Along their perimeters, rows of pin sockets, each with a unique pattern. Michael / Chgowiz 🎲🎲<p>IT IS DONE.</p><p>A year later, after starting Dungeon23 early, I just entered the last description and closed my notebook. 12 levels - most levels having 50 to 60 rooms. A story that has emerged and evolved. A campaign that is rockin' and rollin' along.</p><p>This has been quite an undertaking. If I have time over the holidays, I'll write up a summary for my blog and/or podcast it.</p><p><a href="https://dice.camp/tags/ttrpg" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ttrpg</span></a> <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/Dungeon23" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Dungeon23</span></a> <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/AchievementUnlocked" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AchievementUnlocked</span></a></p>

I am using an 8x8 grid instead of 6x6 (rolling d8s for position and size) as I do seven "rooms".</p><p>This is my map for this week, a section of the Leechwoods, an unpleasant area of the Verduran Forest in my <a href="https://mas.to/tags/pathfinder" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>pathfinder</span></a> game.</p>
Brandon Webster<p>So, who else is thinking about participating in <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/Lore24" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Lore24</span></a> next year? And what other similar things is everyone looking at (inspired I’m assuming by <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/dungeon23" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>dungeon23</span></a>). </p><p><a href="https://dice.camp/tags/TTRPG" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>TTRPG</span></a> <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/NSR" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>NSR</span></a> <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/OSR" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>OSR</span></a></p>
JasonT<p>I think I figured out my plan for this last month of <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/Dungeon23" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Dungeon23</span></a> work on the sci-fi horror game: 31 strange and interesting locations and encounters to sprinkle throughout the earlier areas. </p><p>So far I've had a high a proportion of empty rooms &amp; generic encounters ("corrupted guard," "corrupted worker," "haywire robot"). This kind of horror DOES need a base level of relatively unsurprising stuff so the weird &amp; horrifying stuff stands out as weird &amp; horrifying, but I need to correct the ratio.</p>
JasonT<p>I could use some input for what to write for the last month of my sci-fi horror <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/Dungeon23" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Dungeon23</span></a> adventure. I left this month open to tie off loose ends and add stuff I realized later might need to be beefed up.</p><p>So, if you were playing/running an adventure about amnesiac clones walking up in an extrasolar mining colony overrun by killer robots and inscrutable AI overlords … what kinds of locations would YOU be interested to see?</p><p>(I’ll summarize what I’ve already got shortly.)</p>
