August 3, 1983: Took a few days off at home.
From June 3, 1983: There were unbroken vistas from the trail all along the west slope of Little Hump Mountain to its summit.
#Hiking the ridge of a mountain gives nonstop great views. This was my view when I snowshoed up to this ridge last month in the White #Mountains, #NewHampshire. I’ve hiked long sections of this ridge in the past, but only went a short distance this time. So great to be up there! #FootpathFriday #winter #snowshoeing
I am not sure if I've posted this one before. But since I don't have a #photo for #fensterfreitag I'm going for either #fungusfriday (if that's a thing here on Mastodon) or #foggyfriday (if that's also a thing):

#Today 14
Good day!
Cold. Rainy. It must be March.
Like strategically falling raindrops, my extensive editing chart is filling in. It’s like visual encouragement.
We are who we are. Until we accept that, we can’t make changes to reality. Find peace within to make peace grow.
Be everwell.
"Misty Forest"

As I quietly made my way along one of the parks trails, sunlight filtered through the dense, leafless forest, casting long shadows across the forest floor which was covered in dry leaves. The bare trunks of trees . . . READ MORE - https://pixels.com/featured/misty-forest-scott-loring-davis.html

“Oak tree undecided about which direction to take”
Perhaps not quite as pretty as the famous Rocher Canon bonsai oak, classified as one of the remarkable trees of the Fontainebleau forest, this specimen is off to a fine start, with its two intertwining trunks.

A dull and damp day, and the hills are wrapped in clinging cloud. This outwash plain is rarely dry but recent rains have left a legacy of full rivers and rushing waterfalls.

Bonjour!
Good morning! Well, the lunar eclipse is canceled due to fog... Let's hope it works next week with the solar eclipse.
For this #footpathfriday you have the choice. Left or right. Have a good friday.

Something brand new, the tree and ravens were captured in the highlands of Falls Creek here in Australia. We have very chaotic forests which means the fog is quite vital to making a clear composition. The ravens were captured in nearby trees as there are many found in this area, just not where you want them =P

Shot with the SJCAM SJ8 Pro actioncam. The EXIF data ist not present in the RAW image. The used Sony IMX377 sensor (the same as in my Nexus 5X) delivers quiet impressive results for a sensor of only 1/2.3" size.
An actioncam has not the best and biggest sensor or high quality optics but the ultrawideangle look that you can get is unbeaten for the weight, price and robustness. As many of them now also support RAW it has become my ultrawideangle lens replacement. In the narrow streets of cities a piece of gold in my pocket.
