I was on Google calendar not 5 min. ago & updated some info. I just came back to check a date and poof! all my entries are gone!!! anyone else having this happen?

Si buscáis una alternativa a Google Calendar podéis probar con Fossify Calendar, en F-Droid. Nada de crear cuentas, ni alojar tus datos en la nube. Creas una copia de seguridad (o activas la copia automática) y la guardas donde quieras.
Además, puedes tener varios calendarios para mantener las cosas separadas, y hasta la fecha (y llevo bastante con ella) funciona perfectamente.

Uuugh I've been putting it off for YEARS, because it's such a hassle 
, but with #Google happily changing the Gulf of Mexico's name and now #GoogleCalendar removing cultural observances such as Pride Month, Black History Month, Women's History Month and Holocaust Remembrance day... I finally need to move my email from Gmail to a more ethical alternative.

のタブグループのさらに上位概念のワークスペースとか、タブバーをサイドに縦置きで表示するみたいな #UI が #Chrome にも搭載される日は来そう（それぞれ、#Safari と #Edge に似た機能がすでに搭載されてるし）だけど、
あくまで個人的な予想として、タブタイリングとか Web パネルは #Chrome （というか #Google）の思想上、採用されづらいだろうな、と思う 
#Google は Web サービスである以上、ある程度ユーザーを囲い込むという力が働くし、その観点で同じ #Google のサービスをひとつの画面内で併用するならまだしも（そういう機能はすでに #Gmail のサイドバーに #GoogleCalendar を表示するとかサービス上に機能がある）、#Google 以外のサービスを一緒にひとつの画面に並べて併用できるみたいな自由を、Web ページより上のブラウザー層でユーザーが手にすると、必然的に Web サービスとしての #Google はユーザーを囲い込みづらくなるはず 
厳密には、違うサービスを併用することは今の #Chrome だって、ただの Web ブラウザーだからできるんだけど、どうしたってタブの切り替えは必要になるし、「#Gmail で同じ画面内でサイドにカレンダーとかメモとか置くなら #GoogleCalender とか #GoogleKeep とか #GoogleTasks 使っておこう」ってなるギリギリのラインを超えないように #Chrome の #UI や機能が設計されている感じがする 
#Chrome のシンプルな #UI は登場した当時は洗練されて見えたし、Web サイトが急速に「アプリ」化してきていた当時の時代背景にもマッチしてたんだけど、一方でブラウザーというモノをなるべくプレーンで、あるいみ「不便」なものにしておくことで、あらゆる機能を Web サービスの層に持っていって必然的に #Google にも依存しやすくなる、というソリューションでもあったんだと今になると思うし、それはユーザーにとって幸か不幸か、かなり成功したと思う
でも最近は OS レベルでも、ウインドウのマネジメントがより簡単になってきたし、昔に比べて Web サービスの質も #Google 一興という感じじゃなくなってきたから、ブラウザー自体の機能をもっと充実させてユーザーがより柔軟に Web ページとかサービスを複合的に使いたいってニーズが出てくるのは当然だし、そういうヘビーユーザー向けに #Vivaldi みたいなブラウザーが出てくるのは当然の流れのように自分は感じてる 
あとヘビーユーザーじゃなくても、いつまでも（少なくとも今の）#Chrome では満足できないって人は増えてくると体感的には感じてる
#Notion の #NotionCalender をちょっと触っただけの感想だけど、良さげだな…
#Vivaldi のビルトインカレンダーをメインに使っているけど、#GoogleCalendar よりは #NotionCalendar のほうが好みかも（とりあえず UI がダークモードに対応してるし
