I just finished producing another #cyberpunk soundtrack in the #ardour #daw which I might use in my upcoming #opensource game (Ghostrunner inspired). Everything was made only on #Linux and with the help of open-source tools (LSP Plugins and Vitalium). I think it turned out pretty nice, but I'd be happy to receive some feedback anyways. There might still be something to improve.

Meine Umgebung für die #Musikproduktion ist ja #Ableton. Mit #Wine würde das wohl auch auf #Linux laufen. Aber ich hab da so ein paar Videos gesehen, in denen gezeigt wurde, wie bescheuert sich Wine da verhält. Sorry, aber meine 600 Euro #DAW bleibt auf #Windows.
Ach, und was ist mit all den Plugins, die ich mir beschafft habe? Zum Teil habe ich auch dafür Geld ausgegeben. So lang es also keine echte Portabilität gibt, werde ich mich nicht verbiegen. Dann bin ich halt ein "Windows-Jünger". Mir doch egal, aber das läuft wenigstens.
Und erzählt mir nicht, dass ich doch die DAW wechseln soll. Das kostet alles Geld. Und was mache ich dann mit Ableton? Erkennen andere meine Plugins und Instrumente? Nee nee, das ist mir nix

Created 8 IRs with the Shure sm57 mic this morning. Had to get all Heath with the box to elevate the mic to the right level.

Could not get the mic in at 45 degrees so hand-held it. Weirdly I seem to have gotten a result from that. Room is just too small.

There is slight reflection off metal rack next to it that pops up but not much I can do to control it.
