Yesterday I re-modded my Fender 60 Years Anniversary American Telecaster.
At some point I made a custom control plate with a much more convenient Switchraft pickup toggle and two volume knobs.
Then I installed a set of Seymour Duncan Vintage Stack pickups.
But kept 250K pots. Big mistake - yesterday I redone all the wiring with Gavitt and put 500K pots in. Wow. Wow again.
Fooled around with looper and my new pedals - that's all guitar

*Elephant* by *The White Stripes* is an amazing album. What a cool mix of blues and punk rock! Some of the fattest fuzz sounds I've heard this year.
#NowPlaying Blue Cheer's 'Vincebus Eruptum' from 1968. Thanks to @wendigo for tipping me off to this. I think I'd heard a cover of Summertime Blues but never this whole record. It's rad as FUCK. Like a more psych Sonics or almost Kinks, with some great, extreme fuzz too- bluesy psych rock or "acid rock". Mudhoney definitely took a cue or two from these guys, too. A KILLER listen.

Been making progress slowly on my new music stuff.
Here's one bit from today. Recorded at the library and then mixed at home with a little fuzz, and kind of a wavey feel.
I played my #fuzz into my #tremolo with depth at 5, and the amplitude of the fuzz would obscure the trem until a note decayed, like BAAAAAAAaawawawawawa. Fun.
