@oldthink34 well it depends on the SoC mainly; there are projects like #Rocknix that have #Linux distros for various #Rockchip based handhelds. #Lakka supports a lot of #Amlogic devices, #Batocera supports a bunch of others.
That #Razer is based on a #Snapdragon G3X which is a beast of a chip, but I'm not aware of any opensource distros on #Qualcomm chips.

There's a #RockChip and #Amlogic in EVERYTHING; they use the same #Arm cores, as the #RaspberryPi but in different configurations. There are versions with 3.2 USB, and 2.5 Ethernet!
There are DOZENS of devices made by a dozen or more companies using #Allwinner, #Unisoc, #Dimensity, or #qualcomm chips, but there's only one company making #BCM devices.
Like this #ODroidGoUltra is just $55 for six cores (four A73@2.2Ghz and two A53@2Ghz) DDR4 memory and a 854x480 screen? If that runs #Batocera #Retronix #Recalbox or #Lakka alright then it's a screamin' deal!
