Slow progress as the weather rises above freezing. The picnic tables that were 100% covered in snow are now only 90% snowy.

A wooden picnic table covered in thick, heavy, and somewhat dirty layers of snow. You can see a slim sliver of the table portion of this item beneath the snow that landed on it but the bench where you would normally sit is still covered up by snow.

Only ghosts can eat lunch here at this point unless you want to get very wet and cold.

Bare, nearly black tree branches against a cloudy sky. This looks like a black and white photo, but it is not.

The trees actually have brown branches, but it was so overcast outside that there wasn’t enough light to show the contrast.

You can’t tell from the photo, but there a tiny little buds at the tip of every branch just waiting for warmer weather to grow further and for spring to arrive.
