Wings – #Wings Greatest (1978)

Paul McCartney is not my favorite member of #TheBeatles. In fact, he doesn't make the top 50% 😆

Too many of his songs sound like children's story sing-alongs.

I'm also not a big fan of him splicing half thought out song ideas together to form 1 song.

At least there are enough decent singles on this Wings compilation to keep it interesting.

A drawing of an erinys swordswoman, continuing my exploration of what winged humanoids do with their wings when not unfurled behind them.

Here the wings are slung low as a kind of battle-skirt. Apparently it makes the wielder look a bit like a Christmas tree? Might need to refine the design—I'm sure it's been done before many times.

Not sure what the tendrils coming out the back are supposed to be.

A portrait-oriented variant of the previous drawing.

I've experimented with landscape vs. portrait orientation before; sometimes cropping and rotating a drawing can really change its feel. More pragmatically, portrait orientation also fits the feed better in most of the places I post art...

So does the more immediate portrait orientation suit this drawing better, or is the wide view better?

It's been a moment since my last drawing, so time to post something new I think.

I've a couple of stalled-out sketches taking up space on my tablet, so I thought I'd better get something finished—and I chose this one.

Something more relaxed, but with a hint of threat perhaps? I'm sure the spears don't mean anything bad.

Anyway, I hope folk like it.
