A few days ago I received a text from "Boston Dental" in downtown Boston, a "friendly reminder that you are due for your dental cleaning."
I haven't used Boston Dental since so long ago that I didn't remember _ever_ using them until I went and looked it up in my bookkeeping software. It's been at least a decade.
I texted back and told them that, and asked for an explanation of how this happened and how many other people they did this to.

Ugh I don't know if I've pulled a muscle on the bottom of my right ribcage or cracked a rib with my forceful hacking cough. Even bending over is sharply painful and coughing is agony. It's in a funny place where I can't brace against the rib motion

It's "would have", not "would of".
When contracted, it's spelled "would've", which is where the confusion about "would of" comes from.

Those of us who had our hands whacked in elementary school every time we said "me and joey" (or whatever) are suffering from this pronoun apocalypse.

Phew. I ended up staying at the show from 9:40-ish until 5:30-ish. That was a lot. And now I’m too drained to play with my purchases.

Here is a walk through time from 2006 to 2023 courtesy of Google Earth that overlays the 2024 property boundaries/ownership and includes right of ways (no colour). Private owners are yellow, municipal is green.
You can see back in 2006 (Before the current owner) the right of way was generally clear but it got more full starting around 2020 and encroached into City land before stuff moved out last summer. I'll have pictures of the pathway next week! #PortAlberni #development #whining #activetransportation
The phrase, “suck it up buttercup”, comes to mind. This business owner has been using city land/a public right of way for the benefit of his business for 16 years and now complains to the newspaper two years after he was notified he had to remove his stuff.
He has connections with a former councillor so there is no doubt he knows.
The pathway is fantastic btw. Already people enjoying it and it's not even complete!

I'm feeling a little lost today when it comes to the kid's Spanish passport applications. The honourary consul in Vancouver wants me to send everything to her again, but I'm not convinced that she actually understands these are for new passports, not renewals, and one of my kids is not a minor. Or do I just send it all to Toronto in the hopes that they'll take it and make a booking for us to finish the process when that Consul visits Vancouver in mid-April. All the documents need to get everywhere before the end of March. I feel like throwing up my hands and shelling out $2000 that doesn't exist to just fly to Toronto and do it the normal way. UUUggggghhhh…. this is too much for a Monday.

I'm so ready to get moved. The AC here quit working yesterday morning. The landlord hasn't sent anyone to look at it. I can't do anything. I don't technically live here.
BTW: High temp last two days has been 89 F outside. 81 inside right now. I'm drinking lots of water. That's all I can do for now. I can't afford to go to a hotel. 
Have you noticed how youtubers complain about the "algorithm" when they lose subscribers, but they never praise the "algorithm" when they grow in popularity?
